What it comes down to is the republicans ran a bad candidate in the general election and the democrats ran an even worse candidate.

You are entitled to your opinion. I am not a Hillary supporter. I would have preferred Bernie. But when it comes down to it, at the very least Hillary would have been a normal, competant president. You can argue me on policy all you want, but at least its wouldnt be the shitshow we have right now.

True, and even as a conservative, I think Bush was a terrible president. I'm just saying that both parties like to blame prior presidents for the current presidents failures. Carter was a bad president on his own merit.

It is a good point that presidents achievements and failures may be because of the last one.... (You would not blame Lincoln for dividing the country... Unless you are MikeT23...) which is what we have been saying about trump. ISIS, jobs, economy, etc. The USA was better after Obama's pres. Than before. Can you say that about Bush?
