No one is arguing that Obama was a perfect president. The thing I care about was that he was likable. His values were good. I think if republicans weren't so set on destroying his legacy, he would have more of a lasting impact.

I am not one to debate internal affairs, and industry, as I am not knowledgeable on the subject. However, I think that trickle-down economics has never worked and won't now. Anyway, I care more about morals, foreign policy, and the president representing the country well, and in my opinion Obama outclassed trump on ALL of those things.
If I had to choose between a nice guy that accomplishes very little or a jackass that can get things done I will choose the jackass every time.

I want execution, not talk. Obama was mostly talk. We will see how Trump turns out. So far the economy has picked up a notch, middle class and low income wages are creeping up, illegal border crossings are way down, and ISIS is retreating. Not bad considering most people thought the world was going to end and the stock market would crash when Trump won the election almost a year ago.
Trumps main campaign promises were the wall and repeal and replace. 1st day. He is truly the one who is all talk.

1. Republicans usually lead to economic crashes.
2. Illegal border crossings being down is not good.
3. Isis was doomed to fail before trump. Trump has nothing to do with that.

7119 coal-mining jobs lost since May
Huh? There has been a net gain in coal mining jobs. Not to the extent that the administration claims, but there has been a gain.
Without lies and fabrications, the Liberals on this site would have nothing to say.

So let's say that both the wall and repeal and replace get done in 1 year and a day.... Would you consider that all talk?

see most Trump supporters get that he embellishes... But we also see the movement happening while the media is distracted by Trump's jackassery.... For instance, this happened yesterday:

The Senate Budget Committee on Thursday advanced a budget resolution that would help pave the way for Republicans to pass a tax reform bill without Democratic support.

The resolution passed 12-11 along strict party lines and is expected to be taken up on the Senate floor in two weeks. The Senate is not in session next week.

Though the budget ostensibly lays out spending plans for the fiscal year, the budget document’s central purpose, as reflected by the committee’s debate, was to open the reconciliation process for tax reform, which will allow Republicans to avoid a Democratic filibuster.

The resolution will allow the tax plan to add up to $1.5 trillion to the deficit over the course of a decade.

Did you read the last line? This plan clearly only benefits trump and his comrades.

No.. but the wall will never happen. We just don't have the financial resources. We are already trillions of dollars in debt, and we already have to pay for Harvey, Maria, Irma, etc. Where will the money come from? What will we cut? How will we solve the financial crisis? Are we sure that building a wall is good for the economy? These issues need to be considered.

Since when has a liberal EVER cared about the US debt? BL even argued having debt is A GOOD THING.

If we had $120 billion/yr to fight a war in Iraq then we have $10 billion to build a wall. Harvey, Irma, and PR each cost more than $10 billion in Federal aid. The wall is a drop in the bucket at $10 billion.

It benefits EVERYONE. How does doubling the standard deduction NOT help low income and middle class earners? The first $24,000 for a married couple will be at 0%. You libs are really into cutting off you nose to spite your face. "OMG I don't want a tax cut for the low to middle income earners because the rich will also get a tax cut?!?!?"

I have always cared about the national debt. Just because I am a liberal/independent does not mean I agree with BL on everything.

10 billion for the wall is laughable. It would cost way more than that in reality, and your article did nothing to convince me otherwise. Here is some info.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/18/us/politics/senate-democrats-border-wall-cost-trump.html
http://www.politifact.com/california/statements/2017/apr/28/scott-peters/would-trumps-border-wall-cost-same-one-and-half-us/

http://time.com/4745350/donald-trump-border-wall-cost-billions/

Again, we need to consider whether this is a good idea. Where will the money come from? What will we cut? How will we solve the financial crisis? Are we sure that building a wall is good for the economy? These issues need to be considered.
