I have no beef with someone protesting. We should be thankful to have that right. I would prefer if when they did it wasn't during the anthem.

Protest? Yes. Respectfully. That isn't too much to ask.

The REASON Kaepernink (sp?) started kneeling (rather than sitting on a bench as he had previously) was that he was requested to do that (kneel) instead because it was more respectful. Kaepernink has consulted with friends/military veterans and THEY suggested he kneel during the anthem to show respect.

Funny how the chumptards like to ignore that little fact/detail.

so, in other words, Budweiser will use their money to try to prevent someone's freedom of speech? How is this a good thing? That's un-American!
It's a very good thing that Budweiser is standing-up and telling a Company to mandate their employees stop disrespecting the National Anthem, or they will lose Bud's ton of advertising $, Hopefully more Companies follow their lead and express their disgust for these disrespectful actions.
Players are free to express their displeasure with anything they dislike about this Country, but NOT at the cost of disrespecting it. They have 167 hours and 55 minutes every week to do so. There are always plenty of cameras and microphones around for them to use, but for 5 minutes a week they are tasked with respecting this Country. They, and those supporting them, are the truly un-American!
Peaceful protest is a sin! We fought wars so we could be fascist! GO TEAM.

Our flag and military stands FOR THE RIGHT OF THE PLAYERS TO PROTEST.
RESPECTFULLY protest, yes.
Kneeling during the National Anthem is NOT respectful, regardless of what some people want to claim to make it fit their cause.
Tell me where the players said it was about the military please...
thanks.
WTH are you talking about? Where did anyone say it was about the military? It doesn't matter what it's about. When an action is disrespectful, it is disrespectful no matter the supposed reason behind it. Please at least try to make rational arguments. Thanks.
