My pitchers are 8-1 on the road this postseason (including games at Enron and Wrigley), with a 1.08 WHIP and 2.03 ERA. Somehow, they're 2-6 at home in the Astrodome with a 1.53 WHIP and 5.38 ERA. I'm struggling to grasp how that's possible.

Luckily for me, Game 7 as at home...

Had three teams make the playoffs with a final accounting of 2 WS losses and 1 LCS loss.

Up until the WS, the team with fewer regular season wins had won every playoff series in that league. At 85 wins, I just managed to hold off a .500 team to break the trend.

So what was the final tally of 100+ win World Series winners vs <90 win World Series winners?

Not all World Series are complete yet. Some leagues that had play-in games still need to finish up this weekend. I'll post some final stats at that time.

Personally I like Group 6 as well. I don't think the difference will be any greater than the Six Drafts (by franchise) league was a few years ago

I'm guessing this will work like a $255 league only in the sense that there's no limit on player expense, but the quality of players won't be like a $255 league with 24 teams full of Babe Ruth and Pete Alexander.

On another note, I've already spent more time on the $80 league than I've ever spent drafting a team, and this is pre-salary update! Were it an ordinary league and not part of the WISC I would have given up long ago, I generally don't like to second and third guess teams I've drafted. No choice here though.

Good point. For reference, DEAL league team salaries have generally ended up around $140-160M, though it has been a few seasons since I've played so that may be higher for us due to salary updates
