Best D3 is A-

Also, let's continue to ignore the fact that using average conference prestige for the Strong Conference preference is flawed.

Lowest prestige possible for each division

D3: C-
D2: D
D1: D-

Teams below C- Prestige by division

D3: 0
D2: 26
D1: 168

Some of you are looking at success and conference strength as being indicators of "I want to compete at the highest possible level." If you look at it that way, of course it doesn't make sense that a D2/D3 school could be looked at as equal to a D1 school.

But if success means "I want to win as many games as possible in my four years" and conference strength means "I want to play in a conference that is very competitive," then it doesn't matter which division they play in. And I'm guessing that these definitions come closer to how 3.0 was coded.

Maybe we need to change the playing time variable. Instead of it being wants playing time vs. doesn't care, it should be wants playing time vs. wants to play at the highest level he can (i.e. will always chose to ride the pine at D1 vs being a starter at D2).

This game doesn't resemble real life.... In exhibition my D3 team just beat Marquette and Cal... I didn't play some of my seniors in those games, and started 4 newly recruited freshman.

All of the long *** threads about arguing to improve the game... what's going to come from it? The powers that be are going to make changes? But whose argument are they going to listen to?

Oh we know nothing is going to change. We all just like to argue.

Well, some threads are to learn - like the uptempo thread or when someone asks about what lineup they should run.

But all threads that are like this are just for bickering and laughs. I think we all know that.
