How do you use your SF? Topic

The forums were actually used to discuss all different things HD back in the day. Veteran coaches had no issue voicing their opinions or providing invaluable feedback to the new/newer coaches. When you could learn a ton just by reading through random threads. Now, now not so much. Threads tend to be dominated by a handful of users who snipe at each other back and forth and a piece of good info is as rare as an honest politician. Or just some nonsensical soliloquy from someone who should have something of value to offer.

This thread actually does have some useful info on using the SF position. I've started experimenting with bringing in some out-of-position guys to play the 3 based on some of the feedback I've read here. And the off topic rant was at least cleverly presented. A little off the rails satire doesn't really bother me either.

Yup.

It wasn't even really that long ago that the forums were really good. Some bickering but not nearly as much as there is now. We all share the blame on that one.

But I'll say it again - the worst thing that happened with 3.0 was the departure of so many long time users who were helpful and knew what they were talking about.

FWIW, that was a slightly tuned-up post from emy in response to his off-topic attempt at humor. He's posted something similar several times over the last week or so.

If you want the forums to be something, don't be what you don't want them to be.

Umm, if you thought that was humor than you are really, really far more mentally inferior than I gave you credit for Michael.

LOL. Are you doing this?

Threads tend to be dominated by a handful of users who snipe at each other back and forth and a piece of good info is as rare as an honest politician.

Are you off your meds, gramps?

As I posted in the other thread, are you the only one that gets to respond? Is that how it works in Mikeyland?

And a post count of 2570 versus 56000 kind of shows who dominates those threads. Man are you dense.

As I posted in the other thread, you are free to do whatever you want in this open forum. But, if you're going to post about users ******** at one another, don't wallow in the same mud. Be better. Be what you want everyone else to be. Meds or no?
