Isiah: in the Bible
Lord Thomas: common Middle Ages nobility title
He's IT III, so would have superstitious reason to bet #3
High points in low places: in addition to the obvious bad boys / low rep connection, Detroit won the 89 title in low elevation Los Angeles, and Detroit itself isn't exactly in the mountains.
Nice, yep that all fits. Plus for the tracks clue the Pistons have had logos with a horse in them.

Street Cred to kcsundevil!
Did I not get the "Street Cred" answer to the riddle first?

Spellings are different. You spelled the guy on the Cavs, KC spelled the former Pistons player.

Thats got to be #10

I will freely admit I wouldn't have gotten it without wizard's initial guess, but they are obviously two different dudes.

I never even realized they spelled their names differently. Oh well.

Was just about to post the same, but I have no idea how he fits the "middle ages" clue.

Not the true answer.

Middle Ages?
I assumed Paul referenced the Bible, took a shot that Christopher was a Middle Ages reference to Columbus.

his number

#10:
Pete Maravich...
- St Peter in Bible, and Peter The Hermit in the Middle Ages who pushed for the First Crusade.
- Horse #3 at the tracks... "Pete" Rose was at the tracks and loved the horses, and got his record breaking hit 4,192 vs Eric "Show", with "show" being the term for finishing #3 in horse racing (win-place-show). Also, Maravich finished #3 in the NBA Horse competition in 1978.
- low country is of course LSU then New Orleans, below sea level and site of Maravich's many heroics.

Not the true answer.

1 and 3 fit for sure.

For the tracks, cool story with Pete Rose, but what in the world does that have to do with Pete Maravich haha? ;) So that doesn't get ya anything.

The third place finish in an NBA HORSE game is an amazing connection haha, one that I never would have made. If that is true you get Street Cred. However the info I have says he got second, which eliminates the connection to #3.
