It's an editorial in the NYT by the Fusion GPS founders. They're calling for the release of transcripts of their congressional testimony. What's "fake news" about that? Or does "fake news" at this point simply mean whatever is bad news for Trump?

Newly filed court documents confirm that Fusion GPS, the company mostly responsible for the controversial “Trump dossier” on presidential candidate Donald Trump, made payments to three journalists between June 2016 until February 2017.

The revelation could be a breakthrough for House Republicans, who are exploring whether Fusion GPS used the dossier, which was later criticized for having inaccurate information on Trump, to feed anti-Trump stories to the press during and after the presidential campaign. The three journalists who were paid by Fusion GPS are known to have reported on "Russia issues relevant to [the committee's] investigation," the House Intelligence Committee said in a court filing.

But the recipients' names, the amounts, and purposes of those payments were either redacted from the documents that Fusion GPS filed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia or were not disclosed.

Fusion has asked the court to issue a restraining order against the House committee, which is demanding documents from the company that, among other things, explain the payments it made to reporters. Most of the documents sought are banking records.

during trump c.e. russia and china have filled the void left by the american departure from its place of influence and moral authority......now russia and china are the elder statesman in the un....they have widened their sphere of influence.......russia wanted that.........russia wants a weaker usa - check.........russia wants anarchy in the usa - check.........russia wants weaker usa institutions - check.........russia wet dream - usa citizens losing respect for their own country - check....russia wants a weaker fbi and cia - check..check.
russia knew this wasnt happening with clinton...sure she would be weaker because of investigations but it would be nothing like the chaos that we have now.

3. I do not believe the US is weaker. Again subjective.
4. We do not have anarchy. I would argue it was closer to anarchy under the prior administration.
5. Citizens losing respect? I think that happened under the prior administration as well.
6. We have a very strong economy suddenly and that cannot be great for Russia?
7. Russia and China are NOT friends. Not even close.
8. We have a much stronger relationship with Israel. The only true democracy in the Middle East.

Again, I don't follow. I think Russia would have been better off with HRC winning. She was a weak candidate.

as a supporter of israel i think trump is enabling the hardliners in israel in a dangerous way......the jerusulam thing is not good for israel....now their legislature made the ability to cede e. jerusulam in a deal much more difficult...the status quo should have been maintained.

He told the truth. They punish Christian journalists and hid Bin Laddin for what, 10 years? For years, the United States has had frustrations with Pakistan, a nuclear nation that has been rocked by terrorist attacks and whose ISI intelligence agency is viewed suspiciously. It was in the Pakistani town of Abbottabad where Usama bin Laden hid until U.S. Navy SEALS killed him in 2011. Meanwhile, the country is still holding Dr. Shakil Afridi, a Pakistani doctor who helped the CIA pinpoint Bin Laden ahead of the raid.


Pakistan is not nuking the US. They have their own issues with India.

yes....but...but.....but......they are still an ally with nukes....those nukes need our help in safeguarding them from terrorists who want to topple the govt.....we must maintain the fragile diplomatic approach...it is far more important then our grievances.

Not every news organization can have Fox's excellent rep.

but the network is great for entertainment shows and sports.....2 out of 3 is good.
