That's fairly obvious.

I am trying to keep it simple as I said but again the case stands that a Cali person earning $300k more or less pays less Federal Income Tax than the same person who lives in Indiana due to the deduction. People were up in arms over that. You and bad_luck can dodge this all you want but that is a fact.

Oh and Cali is running at a deficit. bad_luck conveniently keeps avoiding this topic. Too funny.

Triple Play!!!

I’m not avoiding that. It’s irrelevant to your claim that rust belt states are tired of funding coastal states.

Which is incorrect. Blue states fund red states.

Well we cannot agree on that issue. What about Cali running at a deficit? Why is that happening for the gloriously wealthy state?

I’ll happily talk about the deficit when you admit that blue states fund red states.
1/5/2018 3:10 PM
OK HOLY SH*T. Cali funds every Red State. Cali is the best state ever. Red States like Texas are not self funded. Red States wish they could all be like Cali.

Now why can Cali not fund itself when it has the highest tax rate in the country?
1/5/2018 3:12 PM
They aren't the only one funding the red states, but it is a huge piece of the pie.

Jeff, please let me have this one on one with bad_luck. I concede that Cali funds Texas. Now how does he defend the deficit of Cali.
1/5/2018 3:16 PM
Aight
1/5/2018 3:18 PM
Thank you, sir.

Now BL do explain how the King of the Blue States with the highest state income tax by far in the US is running at a deficit. I am really curious to your profound thoughts on the matter.

I want you to say that you were wrong about the rust belt funding the coastal states.
1/5/2018 3:31 PM
Holy ****. I meant that people who earn the same in the rust belt states pay more in federal taxes than those that make the same in states like NY and Cali. But yes the coastal states are for the most part wealthier and contribute more to the Federal Government. I did not state my statement correctly and was wrong.

Now will you address the issue or keep dodging?

BTW - you called Ben Shapiro a white supremacist. 2X!! I at least explained my rationale.

Cool.

Cali runs a deficit because it can.

In this case the “piper” is bond holders and the rates on those bonds are extremely low. So no biggie.
