this is your sword from high hopes is one of the best songs of the year.........the tom petty album was the last with the heartbreakers...he still has a mudcrutch 2 album later......this album is one of his best...just about every album is one of his best....the searing roots rock and roll guitar play is nothing short of incendiary........this is rock and roll at its best.....i cant help thinking that it is a shame that elvis didnt live to hear the tom petty career.........so different from midnight sun....both so great i call it a tie.
the ghost of a sabre tooth tiger is a masterpiece of an album and one that no self respecting beatles fan can ignore......it is the creation of sean lennon and his very talented girlfriend...........let me describe it thus...........get on a hippie bus circa 1967 at blue jay way and take a trip to the vicinity of strawberry fields....along the way journey with passengers led zepplin......syd barrett........lennon and mccartney........pink floyd.......belle and sebastion.........and george harrison..........it is a fluid composition with beautiful harmonies between the duo... a dreamy pop confection spiked with mild hallucinogenics.....you wont be sorry for taking the trip.....it might not be the beatles but it could be called the beatlez.........i like julian lennon..he has some good songs but make no mistake about it....this is the real thing all the way..........never derivative....thoroughly original.

Let’s start here: From everything I have ever read about the man, he is not particularly smart. This is sometimes hard for people to understand. They equate financial gain with intellectual gifts, but the two are hardly synonymous.

Being gifted at exploitation is not the same as intellectualism. It is a skill, but one separate from scholarship. Being able to see and exploit a need, void or insecurity in people can be an interesting, and even lucrative, endowment, but it is not enlightenment.

He is also not a reader. That is not to say that he can’t read, but rather that, given his druthers, he won’t.

A depressingly large percentage of people do in fact equate financial success with intelligence. These people can discount any number of stupid things Trump says and does by reminding everyone, "But he's rich!"

between the entire senate and almost all of his cabinet ( not the oops guy ) he is just about the only one who is not an intellectual......even if he is intelligent so to speak he is not an intellectual....a president needs to be on the level of intellectual.

no way can you say that obama is not an intellectual...thats not even debatable..he is super smart..his command of language is prodigious..i cant believe you could say that with a straight face...that must be early morning joshing......bush 2 was borderline he was intelligent enough to knock on the door but i agree..........jerry ford was not......

cccp1014, look up the interview Obama did with Marilynne Robinson in New York Review of Books. I'm not saying he's Einstein, but he's an intellectual by any measure. I'd like to see the like, really smart stable genius engage in a conversation like that.

im sure cccp was kidding...policies aside......he was a constitutional law professor.......he was one of the smarter presidents.

i wish you could dial a phone number with the area code last..i find it hard to remember a phone number and then call it but if you could do the area code at the end it would be much easier.

do you think mueller has an organized crime style chart in his office called the trump family with capos and captains and consiglieres and soldiers and associates....and maybe a similar putin/russia chart as well.

i think okra could do it....if biden would run again as vp with her that could be a very formidable team.
and trump could call biden sloppy joe wherever he is by then.

i will say that the error was extremely picayune.....obama's uncle helped liberate a sub- camp......very very very minor mistake......having nothing to do with intelligence.
