Yeah, according to Pew Research, it's pretty evenly distributed between white, black, and Hispanic. I have only ever seen black people go in there. I have always just assumed that it was a predominantly black religion.

I dont think its it’s unreasonable to require the DACA residents to do something, just not sure what that something should be.

The right answer certainly isn’t deportation. They are essentially Americans without citizenship due to a technicality.

So, then make the rule that it must be from an accredited institution.

But yeah, deportation would not be right. That's why I like the permanent alien residency option with a path to citizenship. It protects them from deportation.

I’m pretty sure UoP is accredited. Requiring a degree seems a little too far. A lot of people don’t need them and they are expensive.

Maybe require community service? Everyone at my high school had to do community service hours to graduate.

See, I think it has to be something that's going to lead to lifelong contribution from the individual. Community service is great, but it doesn't achieve that. I agree with you about college, but I am not sure what a 3rd good option is.

I think my 2 options would stay on the table and I agree we need a 3rd. The military may not be the lifelong impact that I was talking about, but if you're willing to fight for me, you deserve citizenship. College doesn't guarantee success, but it greatly increases the odds. I don't know what a good 3rd option is.
