It was 30 years ago. Mistakes happen in business all the time. I work in business. I know.

My chief concerns are:

1. The Economy --- doing well
2. The Military --- Emphasis on continuing to build it and innovate
3. Israel --- Stand by them and don't help their enemies like Iran and Palestine.

He checks the boxes for me. Rightly or wrongly that is where I stand.

Except this mistake was extremely selfish and corrupted and cost people millions of dollars. Go team! Art of the deal!

As to your concerns...
1. Economy --- nothing to do with Trump
2. Military ---- Why TF is expanding the military good? Decreasing the military presence is one of my concerns.
3. Israel --- I disagree that moving the embassy helps and I think that your worldview is wrong. Different perspectives, whatever.

My concerns:
1. Environment --- Working to stop global warming and expand renewable resources.
2. Foreign Policy --- Avoid WW3.
3. Personal --- Don't be a dumbass.

He fails on all 3 measures.

Hence you vote for who you like and I'll do the same. You are not a finance guy. So please don't opine on stuff you don't understand. Being a "dumbass" is subjective. I proved that he is impacting the economy via his sponsored tax bill that you acknowledged.

Because we are one of the few "good guys" in the world and need to have a strong military. Plus we get many inventions from the military. The R&D is great and creates jobs that help the economy, my #1.

The best way to keep a handle on those that might do you harm is to keep them "inside" the circle........ Keep em thinking you're their friend and ally on as many things as you can........ and watch every move they make.

Maybe I'm wrong and it was another of our great leaders but it USED to be the preferred method of leading.
Nowadays we get redlines in the sand (Obama) and tough talk from a wannabe bully who avoided service in the military.

tax cuts for corporations do not impress me. Until you can prove that Apple brought back that cash because of Trump, that does not impress me. Wasting time sending petty tweets while he could be doing more important things does not impress me.

In my OPINION Trump says stupid and dangerous things on Twitter, and in the real world. Sh*thole is a good example of this.

Speaking of subjectivity, being a 'good guy' is 100% subjective. I won't argue about this but the US creates a ton of foreign problems. I am in favor of more or less isolationism. We spend WAYYYYY too much on the military, and most of the money is not well spent. I would advocate for a 100 million dollar cut.As to inventions, I don't see why inventions need to go through the military. Cut the middleman and promote innovation.

objectively.....i do think that in his first year trump has accelerated the economy progress brought on by obama re trump has helped increase obama " constantly increasing market confidence and job creation.. more.lowering unemply rate...... and trump helped bring some better wages with some fortune 500 companies.....make no mistake that obama policies did get us out of a depression without destroying the auto industry when R-nation wanted them to go belly up.
trump did help push thru the tax cuts which has spurred current better numbers...no doubt about it.
the issue which cant be fleshed out now is whether at some point the huge loss of revenues will cause recession effects.
i personally subscribe to the belief that no matter how it is dressed up there will be a dangerous recession/depression some number of years from now because of it and god save the queen if there is unanticipated necessary expenditures like wars or unprecedented natural disasters making it worse like what happened with bush 2.

so i say unto you it always feels good after you get a great sugar/cocoa rush from a nice chocolate icing/chocolate cake......after you get the diabetes then talk about the chocolate cake.
