Will start Evals when the draft is over so I have the whole picture.

Boerwinkle never used to last past the third round. My squad will get lit up at times, with two 60 D guys in the starting unit, but big Tom really helps round out boards and assists.

Parish was a steal for vance in the 5th. Almost took him in the 4th to use his 91-def, 2200-min season to split PF minutes with Brand, and absolutely would have taken him in the 5th if he lasted.

When I was a kid I used to make up my own Strat-o-matic basketball teams, drawing by hand whole teams of fictional players who I would then play against each other. On one team I had a PF/C player who was named Tom Boerwinkle. At the time, I had never heard of the real Tom Boerwinkle.

These basketball drafts are fun, but it becomes a little less fun when someone else takes the guy you wanted in the fifth round, especially when it was a player who wasn't even drafted last season.

I LOVED Strat-O-Matic basketball!

Does anyone rememer the Starting Lineup Talking Baseball Game? It came out in 1988, I think. I had one and it was awesome...

It's possible you heard the name and didn't know it. I once came up with a character named Mick Jagger, without knowing there was an actual Mick Jagger. I must've heard it somewhere.

Psh, that's the most challenging/exciting part! trying to figure out if there's a decent replacement or if you need to shift strategies/do something crazy.

Yes, that is a possibility. At the time, I was much more aware of Bullwinkle Moose.

Boerwinkle was plan A, Lanier was plan B, Daniels was plan C. Let's see if plan D makes it back to me.
