legitimate hatred against politicians happen when you passionately care about the country.......you dont wear blinders....you do understand right from wrong and morality from mores.....and you have a rational understanding about the truth and what is really at stake ........you dont have to know someone personally.

what about petrified forrest...thats a classic.

Watched it tonight. You were right, great film. Clever, snappy dialogue and plenty of quirky minor characters portrayed by good actors. Among the leads, Bogart was great as the conflicted gangster, as were Leslie Howard as the philosophizing hobo-writer and Bette Davis playing more innocent and bighearted than I've ever seen her. I wanted a happier ending, though!

speaking of movies, anyone seen The Post? interesting movie considering what's going on. Just saw it tonight. It was very well done.

looks like a good one...what could go wrong with hanks and streep.....2 legends of the future silver screen.
Spielberg is redoing west side story.. but.a really interesting..modern and imaginative remake would be jewish and arab gangs from the west bank with the same inspiring ending.....that could be provocative.
