that is an incredible list......it looks great too with the bolding...gene tierney was one of the most beautiful actresses of her time..a catherine zeta jones of her era...i think she was in the ghost and mrs muir.

ill go through the fifties and see what other gems there are.....one is the enchanted forrest we spoke about before...i have to pick my top 3 abbott and costello from the 40s. red river ?.....my top 3 universal monster movies from the 40s.
fred mcmurray was not a nice guy in the movies before he became all american dad in the fifties...also a tightwad who brought his lunch to the set every day.

to all who continue to see trump as a great leader my apologies.
the chef executive discussing rob porter says unfair to porter...he strongly denies it..that makes it different and " mere allegations "......MERE ALLEGATIONS !!!
people cant understand why kelly praised him and was so loyal to him........the reason was part of kelly's plain view statement...he called porter " a confidante "......a confidante in the white house...the reason is right in there.

SOME OTHER FINE PEOPLE WHO SAID THEY WERE INNOCENT SO THEY PROBABLY WERE

1. RICHARD SPECK
2. ROY MOORE
3. ADOLPH EICHMAN
4. IRA EINHORN
5. LEE HARVEY OSWALD
6. RICHARD SMITH
7. ROGER AILES
8. RICHARD NIXON

You're right about Gene Tierney, dino. In putting together this list I re-watched Laura; she really was a classic beauty.

Kind of funny that her love interest in the film was played by a young Vincent Price.

I'm sure you could add another 50 decent films to the 1940s list. I'm woefully ignorant about foreign films from that era, for one thing, plus there are a few Hitchcock films I left off because he was already well-represented and they weren't his very best (but still worth watching): Suspicion, Shadow of a Doubt, Spellbound, Lifeboat, etc.

i also do not respond to someone who speaks to me in a mocking or didactic tone.....if he does not fit for you then you say why.

I'm simply curious. WHAT was Richard M. Nixon guilty of?
2/10/2018 1:38 PM
Another White House aide, this one a speechwriter, forced to resign over spousal abuse:

"She said that during her marriage to Sorensen, he ran a car over her foot, put out a cigarette on her hand, threw her into a wall and grasped her menacingly by her hair while they were alone on their boat in remote waters off Maine’s coast, an incident she said left her fearing for her life."

Holy Christ!

But I'm sure some Trump supporter/apologist will pop in to tell us, "You think Obama's aides weren't wife beaters? You think Obama's speechwriters didn't put their lit cigarettes out on their wives' hands? Don't be naive, crazystengel!"

Ha! Maybe I should unblock Doug. That's pretty funny. I thought it was only Rush Limbaugh transcripts that he posted.
