This remains out of contro and they clearly aren’t fixing it. With a lost coin flip and now four unreplacable early entries, and no progress on fixing Division I, it’s time to move on from this version of this game. I will miss many of your camaraderie, and so long to my friends.

Peace and be well.

While I doubt this went as he expected(many well wishes from his friends), props to lakevin for being the first "I'm done with this" guy to be done with it.

Historic moment.

I always wondered . . .was he "L.A. Kevin", "La Kevin", or "Lake Vin"?

I always thought Lake Vin like "Youse know, Vinny up by the lake, yo."

lol exactly. I’m the king of ******** when things do against me, but I’m not going to make a post about my farewell because I had too many EE’s. I’m pumped when I sign a 1-star.

It's a tragic ending to a sad story to be sure.

lakevin's UCLA team
3/7/2018 2:15 PM
The struggle is real!!!

He was always a good guy. Sorry to see him go.

Looking at his UCLA team:
Not sure which 4 underclassmen he lost?

But probably:
JR Harrison, #1 Center.
JR Young, #1 SF.
SOPH Rochester, #1 SF.

and either:
JR Bennett, #9 SG, or
SOPH Ong, #5 PG.

Also retains:
FR Conley, #3 SF.
FR Frazer, #7 PG.

And in RS1, UCLA had just signed:
HS Baumgart , #1 Center.

So he did get 3 years out of two #1 ranked guys.
And 2 years out of another #1 ranked guy.
Just signed another #1 Center.

Man, he was rolling in Westwood. Not a lot to get too upset about, i wouldn't have thought.

I just lost my first guy to EE. He was a #2 SF that i got 3 years out of. Seems pretty reasonable.

So glad Mike bumped an EE thread after no one posted in it for 5 days.

Thanks Mike!

Fix EEs!!!!

It was a "Bye, bye cruel world" thread.

And I bumped it because he actually quit. Which is unusual for these types of threads. Usually just an empty "threat".

I agree. I didnt check his profile, but i assume he's won titles. And if you're in that championship fraternity, I dont understand quitting over something you've probably dealt with 100 times now! (If there is more to the story that we dont know, then my apologies). But everyone else deals with those same issues. And there is frustration at any level in this game for different reasons.

I may say that I'm going to quit, not publicly. but to myself. And I'll pout my way all the way down my home screen until i get to that "renew" button. And I'll push that button soooo hard, too. Just to show my frustration. Take that! But if i'm him, i just come back and win another title in the next 5-10 seasons. It kinda reminds me of billionaires that cry because they only have ONE billion and not TWO.

I'm sure he was a great guy and he'll probably be back. nothing personal here.

I think the fact that there were 4 EEs in one season did him in. I took over his team. Been wanting to coach UCLA for a long time. But it was very difficult to replace the talent in the second session. Four is a lot to lose. It will not be easy for us to be competitive this coming year, so I do understand the frustration. I think it is really that a factor like that can really knock the wind out of your sails. Even if you were aware of how many were leaving, you could prepare and it would not be that bad. I think in real life, you would know pretty well who was going to be leaving. So, if that were the case you could prepare for the number you were probably going to lose. He probably felt maybe 2-3 would leave. But, I am excited about taking over at UCLA - That was one team I really wanted to coach.
