Definitely working as intended.

If anything, the cap on visits should be dragged down to 5, and it should be at the player’s discretion, not the team. The player tells you when he’s ready to let you come over for dinner a 2nd or 3rd time. There should be more, not fewer 4+ team battles for players, and moving the cap down is the way to do it.

Were you all putting in 80 Ap a cycle? Aps are the game mechanic you are looking for.
AP when you have seven schollies to fill... Can't do 80. If you have 1 to 2, can't do it. If you have 3 and go 80 on a late, you will only sign one. I went 30-35 throughout. We need other options imo.
You sure can! There is a dropdown button and scroll all the way to the bottom. It's 80.

Seriously, You could have put in 80 a turn, you chose not to because, well, it doesn't matter....you had the option you elected not to use it.
I had to sign six Trenton. It was a late tendency. I wish we had some other recruiting actions so we could strategize more.
Honestly, those are the guys where AP's really add up. If he's your #1 target, and you are dropping 60-80 AP's a turn on him THAT can lead to a 400-600 AP advantage. That's how you fend off the late arrivals AND beat the higher prestige teams.

You can do it baby, use a different strategy.

If only there was more than 1 player available during recruiting - zorzii had no option but to fight for that guy!

Years from now, should any dev read the forums and see this, please abandon all other updates until you find a way to make this game easier for zorzii.

I agree. Current system encourages humans to carry 1-3 walk-ons, and leaves Big 6 + mid-major Sim teams with 3-6 since they go for good players but don't go all in.

Zorzii wants to make this game's resource flaws worse.

I will keep getting 3 walk-ons, can't sign players! Don't blame me, blame the lack of players... I am not going to sign players that will rot on the bench. I already took one of these projects and he definetly is not even sure to see 1 min during his four years at Clemson.

I was on six players to start with, signed four... When you tell me, drop 80... don't forget I have 140 AP, need seven schollies... Just Lucky I did not get a EE... If I am going in battles in the first session, no way I can go 80 on a late... Then if I am battling on three lates, as I did, no way I can go 80. I went 50 + almost all the time on a late and ended losing the roll... At 80, maybe I win that roll that is why I said my mistake was to be too greedy. Shoot for 5 at 7 schollies,

No, there is no lack of players. There are plenty of players. You are complaining about the results of the strategy you choose to pursue.

There are plenty of valuable players. Plenty. No one needs a roster full of NBA players to compete. You don’t *need* 6, or 3, or any. You can set your standards wherever you like. You aren’t entitled to have access to players who meet those standards.

It would only become a problem if all 324 D-1 teams were filled with human coaches. Here is the player in question I believe.

In 3.0, you can't expect to fill out your roster with good players at an A- prestige school with 6 or more openings, not to mention trying to recruit in the southeast. It's one reason I left Wake Forest for Kansas, despite the coach longevity hit.

I am only going for the NT win... So yeah, I can set a goal to play in an empty conf and get players to participate in the NT every season, win one, maybe two... S-16 is not my goal. I am going all-in and want to win the ACC every season. Check what Chapel, Indy, Shatz bring in, check who is coming up in the ACC... Check SEC and Big East and Big Ten competitors, not plenty.
