Also note that worldwide poorer people tend to have more kids. I guess they have more time on their hands. IDK.
Poor people certainly don't have more time on their hands. Take a guess. Try to explain it.

Many "poor" people have 8-10 extra hours every day they need to fill. Also, some of those same people have more children so they get more "assistance" handouts from people like YOU. Explained clear enough for your naive mind?

Examples? Not the people I know. Proof? I thought babies were bad finantially. Most poor people I know barely get to hang out with their children. It is hectic.

#1) Gov't handouts
#2) Only form of recreation they can afford
#3) Cannot afford contraception
#4) Lack of education
#5) In middle class families many times both parents work and when not they want to give their kids the best and having more kids makes it difficult. So they stop at 2 or 3 to ensure that the kids can do all the sports, fun vacations and they can pay for their schooling. The poor don't necessarily see it that way. More kids = more government support.

Proof is on Google. Multiple sites. It is financially not finantially. I am not sure how babies can be good at anything.

I think the opportunities have been equalized but the culture needs amending. 70% single parent rate is unfathomable and unsustainable. I don't care what race you are. The Government needs to somehow not reward people who ask for assistance because they became a single parent. I don't know how to control that w/o taking away basic human rights in terms of having kids. Of course we need a license to drive and get married but to have kids...no rules.

That is the real issue here. The stereotype is that poor people not just African Americans, abuse the system and our Government just hands the monies to them. This is where the vitriol is coming from. There are of course many advantages and disadvantages. One being gender. Finally there is more equality and I am all for that as I have two daughters.

In terms of race, at least here in MA it is not a factor so I do not believe that being white gives me any privilege or advantage. But that is my POV. I do think that it is not healthy using terminology such as "white privilege". Being white is something I cannot control. Same as being tall.
Here's how you fix that, Boris. You stop promoting dumb abstinance-only programs and teach kids how to get consent and put on a damn condom! When you say 'sex is bad', you encourage kids to 'defy the man' and do it anyway - unprotected! Abstinance is perfectly fine, but when you don't teach kids ANYTHING other than 'sex is bad', you encourage stats like that. That's how you solve the teen parent and the single parent problem. Also, the drug and jail thing may feed that.... It all blends together.

Do you have any hard proof that a majority of people abuse the system, or is this just a hypothetical that, in reality, almost never happens. Like Voter Fraud. I know a lot of people that certainly don't abuse the system.

MA is pretty good about that but in other places it is worse. It isn't a bad thing to be white! This isn't demeaning to white people at all! White privledge and institutional racism are linked. Think of it as racism.
You said to think of white privilege as racism? So I am born racist because I am white?

You don't get to call me by my first name when you are too embarrassed to share yours. I told your dumbass ears that I am not sure what the solution is. It is not abstaining. Although it should be until you are of legal age. I think it is educating from early on that people need to graduate school and have a job and a partner before having unprotected sex.

I don't know how realistic that is.

#1) Uhh but as we have established, having babies is not good for one's financial stability.
#4) Correct.
#5) You don't think poor people want the best for their kids? Do more kids = better finances?

Prove it to me yourself. I looked it up. I found nothing. Make your own arguments.

No, as institutional racism, where no one person has to be 'racist' per say to be discriminatory by nature.

I agree. My argument was not for abstaining, it was for removing abstinance-only education. We already are taught that. Trust me, I have been in school more recently than any of you.

That article is 20 years out of date and very speculative. Not solid proof or solid arguments.

Keep doing it. While you are at it, talk to some people in poverty. Maybe what they say will surprise you.

I guess you know all the good, responsible poor people in the World, because I know some and see plenty of others, who DO have children to increase the amount of $ THEY have to spend. Who DON'T care about their children, and who DO have a ton of spare time they devote to doing worthless things instead of being with their children. That's the sad, but very true, reality of many poor people I know and see. Glad your World doesn't have any of those. You should be extremely grateful, because it's very difficult to see.

I have never talked to anyone who has done that, and I would wager that the majority do not feel that way.
