You have systematic advantages over others because of your skin color. Thus you have more privilege because you are white.

I made the post because it warps your words out of context and takes it to the extreme. Which is the exact thing you do.

Racism: prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.

I don't see how saying that black people have systematic disadvantages is racist. It's more racist to say that black people fail because their culture is inferior.
I don't think black people fail. I think PEOPLE fail. Are you saying me being white gives me an advantage over someone who is Asian?

Y or N?
Liberals lump people together based on race, gender, and such factors. They don't have the ability to look at each individual and determine whether that individual was a success or failure.
Says the guy who just said in a sentence, "All liberal minds."
You choose your political affiliation. You don't choose you race or gender. Your political affiliation aligns with what you believe and how you think. Your race and gender are how God created you. Big difference. I really hope you can see this.
Yeah, but 'liberal' is just such a blanket term that people can have different opinions while still being liberal. Some people who are liberal fall into that category. I do not. I am a liberal, but if your definition of liberal includes that caveat then I guess I am not. Just don't use blanket words to summarize a large group of people and then say that all of those people are a certain thing without definitive proof.
Liberals have certain ideologies. Conservatives have certain ideologies. Obviously there are exceptions in both parties, but there is nothing wrong with grouping a political party. A good example is I most closely align with libertarianism. I don't believe marijuana should be legal, but most libertarians do. It is okay to say that libertarians believe pot should be legal even though there are exceptions that don't.
Well, yeah. We know that most libertarians agree with that. The issue, of course, comes when I say that all libertarians agree that pot should be legal. Well, that isn't true.

By the way, While the majority of the Democratic Party is very racist and bigoted, I know that you and your father aren't. You guys truly want to help people. I think the fact that you focus so much on race is wrong and we disagree on how to help the poor, but I know your heart is in the right place.
I disagree that the majority of Democrats are racist and bigoted. Either way, thank you for saying that. I truly do want to do my best to make the world better. I believe that you do too.
5/6/2018 10:43 PM
Yes, but when speaking in generalities, it is true. It is part of the libertarian ideology.

We live in a world of exceptions. It's annoying. If I say that suburban women don't support Donald Trump, some suburban woman is going to pipe up and say "I support him. Guess what, she's the exception.

If I say the nuclear home is the best situation for children, some single mom or gay couple is going to chime in and say "it has worked well for us." Guess what, they're the exception.

They are. They break down everyone into groups instead of just seeing people for their character. Listen to their comments. I'll post a few examples in a second.

MLK wanted people to be judged by their character, not their physical traits. Democrats see people as black/white, gay/straight, male/female. They can't see past these traits.

Think about it. Your last presidential candidate ran on the fact that she was a woman. If the dems weren't bigoted, she would have ran on her character,

Yeah, but exceptions still count. Is it too much to ask for us to not speak in absolutes?

I think it's not nessesarily a bad thing to see people by their traits partially. Not to discriminate, but the whole post-racial thing opens up a whole new can of worms and is really not beneficial.

Hillary didn't have a personality.

Did Obama run on him being black? I don't think so. Obama was running on policy and character and just happened to be black...

I don't see how this is specific to Dems though. Were Trump's comments on Hillary's health not gender-based? His comments that she would not be a strong leader and didn't look like a leader? The birther controversy wasn't race fueled? Obviously none of these things are OK, and what you pointed out is part of the reason why I wasn't fully onboard with Hillary. Again, I preferred Sanders, and if Kasich won the GOP I would have voted for him. If Carson or Rubio won, it would be closer.

Do you think God created us to live in a post-racial society? Post-gender? And if so, why is LGBT such a hot-button issue for you?
5/7/2018 12:27 AM
I am an atheist. And if I was not I would not know what God wanted. Neither do you.

Oh, so black people fail at a higher rate because they, on average, are failures. Thanks for sharing.
They fail at a higher rate because 70% come from one parent households. I have told you this before. Are you ignoring my posts on purpose?

Lol. Says the guy who misuses my words. I am intentionally doing this.

So tell me why more black people come from single parent households.

The LGBT thing is not a hot button issue with me. It's not my place to judge people.

This post proves my point that the left's mindset is racist. When you're talking about whether an individual is a success or failure, their traits should not be considered.
