Does slavery and Jim Crow still affect black people? I want a yes/no answer.
Bad policing? If you get arrested when you are innocent, you go to jail, lose your job, and have that on your record the rest of your life. If you get killed, well, you are dead.
Netenyahu is.
#1) IT depends on your definition of affect. If you believe the Holocaust still affects Jews then "Yes" if you don't then "No". It affects them in my opinion because they don't have the benefits of generational wealth. But that is the only way. And that impact cannot be cured.
#2) This is true for all races. You are a moron. You didn't answer my question. Learn to read.
#3) In your opinion. You have zero proof. Other than what you see on CNN.
Keep up the good work.
#1) OK. So it does affect them. This has been my point the entire time. We agree. If a racist institutional practice affects them, then that is institutional racism. Case closed.
#2) INNOCENT BLACK PEOPLE GET ARRESTED MORE. INNOCENT BLACK PEOPLE GET KILLED AT A HIGHER RATE. THIS MEANS THAT IT AFFECTS BLACK PEOPLE DISPROPORTIONALLY.

I don't watch CNN btw.
#1) WAS!!! WAS!!! WAS!!! NOT IS!!! That is like asking if slavery affects them. UGH!!! Case NOT Closed. You dummy. LOL.
#2) No it doesn't. The NBA is 75% black. So does that mean that owners are prejudiced against white players?!?!??! NO!!
#3) CNN is FAKE NEWS.
#1) You just said it still affects them. If it still affects them, then that is institutional racism. I don't see what part of this you don't understand.
#2) What? That example doesn't make sense. Please explain why more innocent black people get arrested and convicted.
#3) So is the Guardian? So is the LA Times? So is BBC? So is the NY Times? What? HEAD IN THE SAND.
#1) You IDIOT!!! What happened before was RACISM and affects future generations. LMAO. Do you not understand English? I am seriously puzzled why you cannot understand this.
#2) They do? Show stats. As a % of arrests I think just as many "innocents" get arrested black or white. More black people are arrested because statistically they commit more crimes because they come from single parent households. I have already told you this 100000x. More arrests = more mistakes.
#3) Read the WSJ. There is a difference between news and editorials.
#1) Correct. That is institutional racism.
#2) https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/3/7/14834454/exoneration-innocence-prison-racism
http://www.law.umich.edu/special/exoneration/Documents/Race_and_Wrongful_Convictions.pdf
Yeah but that doesn't make sense. If everyone was treated equally and on an individual level, the fact that black people commit more crimes should not come up in your mind when you come to arrest another black person. You are proving my point. That is exactly what is happening and it is not OK.
#3) None of those were editorials. They were all reporting a news story. I bet you didn't even read them.
#1) HOW? Those institutions such as MLB no longer practice this racism??!?!?!
#2) We agreed that policing needs to be improved but dual parenting would cause a lot less need to arrest people.
#3) Everything in CNN has an air of editorials. I refuse to give that network any viewership or readership. Sorry. I am not even sure if they declared DJT the President yet...
#1) Yeah, but again, if it still affects us, it still is institutional racism. I don't know if you understand what institutional racism means.
#2) Sure... I guess?
#3) Ok, ignore the CNN one.... What about the others? Is BBC fake news?
We agree on more than you think. We just need to iron out all our definitions.
#1) Why is it still racism if it affects us? So should we still be punishing Germany for the Holocaust? Explain in detail. NOW.
#2) You guess? No I am right. Admit it.
#3) I have told you already more arrests = more false arrest. Just as in hoops if I take more free throws I will miss more free throws than someone who takes fewer free throws if our % is the same.
#1) It doesn't matter if it still is in practice. In the example of the holocaust, that's institutional racism. It doesn't stop becoming institutional racism just because we are not doing it anymore. Thus, institutional racism exists.
#2) You are correct.
#3) No, no, no. You are missing the point. The free throw example is between crimes and arrests. More crime equals more arrests. But there should never be a link between more arrests and more false arrests. Even if every crime was committed by black people, it would still be wrong to have an extremely disproportionate rate of false arrests. That isn't treating every case individually.
