LOL

I just went back and looked at CCCP's links again. The Wash Examiner piece says this:

"Most notably, Victory Journal editor and GQ writer Nathaniel Friedman said..."

Their most notable example is a guy who has 1600 twitter followers.

If you google "Kevin McHale should be fired," it's all right wing opinion pieces freaking out over all the "liberals."

What you don't see? Any notable liberals actually calling for him to be fired.
what difference does it make if the people calling for McHale to be fired are "notable" or not. Nobody should be calling for it. He wasn't at the rally representing his employer. He was there as a [private citizen who has every right to support whomever he wants. If you think he should be fired, than everyone at that rally should be fired as well.
Because random people say **** that should be ignored all the time. You don't get to say "the left" is calling for McHale to be fired as if mainstream media members and political surrogates are making that argument. They aren't. It's a right-wing strawman campaign that CCCP fell for.
I heard about it listening to NBA radio on Sirius and the hosts were stating how insane that writer was for stating this. I didn't fall for anything. I think this is insanity. I also think that you are insane. Did you not want to tax each $1 earned over $10mil at 99%? LOL

"That writer" was one guy with 1600 twitter followers. So what?

It would be insane for there to be a actual mainstream movement calling for McHale to be fired. Which is why it's good that there isn't one.

Not sure why you want to change the subject to taxes but we can talk about that instead if your faux-outrage is wearing off on the McHale issue.
The fact that anyone would even suggest that is lunacy IMO. I don't think anyone from the right would suggest for a person to be fired if he were at a Clinton rally.

We can discuss your lunacy on taxes. It would certainly make the NBA salary cap an interesting dilemma. All the contracts would be $10MM per year, LOL.

...oh...well????

I’m not worried about rich people “only” making $10m a year.

That is because you are not one of them. There should not be a cap on income. I think 35% of $1Bn is plenty....$350mil.

If you support socialism then move to Sweden.
6/22/2018 3:15 PM
Um ok, we have a difference of opinion here. Not sure what your problem is.

It is this line of thinking.

You also believe Ben Shapiro is a white supremacist, that half this country is racist, etc. I just don't think your line of thinking is productive and at worst it is dangerous. Luckily you are still the minority and hopefully will 4ever be.

He amuses me. Says funnier stuff every day than most comedians say in their lifetime. Sure he's not trying to be funny, but I don't care.

I don’t think half the country is racist.
What percentage then since you are all into white privileged and institutional racism.

Again, this is you showing that you don't really understand institutional racism or white privilege.

Let's use an example.

Jim is a cop. Jim pulls over a white guy. Jim is calm, the subject is calm. The stop is routine. Then Jim pulls over a black guy. The subject is calm, but Jim is a little more on edge, a little more aware of where the subject's hands are, Jim's hand is a little closer to his gun. Jim doesn't think about it, it is just a natural reaction to the situation.

Is Jim racist?

No

What if the white guy is tattooed up and listening to Iron Maiden. The black guy is in a suit and listening to classical. I think Jim is not on edge with black guy but likely more on edge with the white guy.

In this case, Jim probably doesn't think he's racist. He might even be black himself. But what is happening to the black guy in my example is institutional racism. He's treated differently by society solely because he's black.
6/22/2018 5:07 PM
Very myopic example and as usual you didn't read past "No".
6/22/2018 5:20 PM
What if Jim is a transgender enforcer and pulls over an illegal MS-13 gangbanger listening to Howard Stern with a 13 year old undocumented goat?

Society treats these people differently.

You libs are silly and sound like the above. Irrelevant but way too loud.

Please go away and allow us to live.

whatever the percentage is, its too high. 0 percent is the only percentage that is not too high. That being said, I doubt 0 percent can ever be achieved.
