First time I've been apart of doing this. Brought a question to mind. I'm at D2. I have 2 openings. But the system gave me the extra AP (80) and the extra 2k (total of $9k) for recruiting. I'm pretty sure that 20 AP will go away when RS2 starts. No biggie there.

But will I lose $2k of my budget? I'm not sure how that would play out. And if I am going to lose it, what about if I spend at least $2k to get me back to the $7k i'm supposed to be at, would that clear me? If I did it before RS2.

Or even better, am i in the clear on the money regardless?

A while back, I think it was tdiddy3 that started a thread about the highest ranking player that a D2 school has recruited. Well I was just browsing in Smith....

drwildcat at Bluefield St landed a SF that is 674 overall, 13th ranked by position, 54th ranked overall player, and a 4 star recruit!!!! Dont know the potentials, but his ratings look good now already. There were a handful of D1 humans on the considering list as well. Looks like a nice grab. I've definitely never seen higher rankings.

And the guy only has 8 seasons of HD in his career (unless he has multiple IDs)...... impressive.

Definitely cool that he signed a four star, but all his ratings are black. Almost certain none of them are green/blue. So don't expect huge improvement with that player.

Stamina is blue, FT is green.

Jones projects to be a good offensive D2 player. In D1, he would likely be a 4 year back up on human teams, maybe emerging as a good bench scorer with upperclassman IQ at a mid-major. Even at D2, he may be more effective than normal freshmen, but he’s unlikely to ever be all-conference caliber.
