can we PLEASE do a regressive? start with 16-17(or even 17-18 if they miraculously get released) and 96-97...would be so much better imo...especially the inaugural draft
and also...
i dont know how you stop tanking...its so easy to load up on 2/3 year contract guys who only suck that first year and then draft 1 year guys who really suck...it will probably lead to some ugly races to the bottom
i cant believe im saying this but maybe a random draft order every year? with the player contracts it might work for this league...maybe even put in some clause that helps teams with awful luck...could be "if you finish with picks 12-24 for 5 years straight you automatically get the 5th pick" or something like that

A regressive sounds like fun but so far everyone that has joined is joining a progressive. I'm not sure you can ever eliminate tanking or trying to load up for a particular draft class. However, even if you load up for a draft you'll only be able to keep the core together for 3 years and your superstar for only 6 years. I think this should help teams escape sim purgatory / repeated lottery picks by having more talent available in each draft class.
