THIS IS GREAT...BUT Topic

It's just a little bit too costly for me. With a young family of two, every little bit counts! I just wish I could keep playing, have multiple teams, and actually afford it. Does it get any cheaper as you keep playing? Or if you have multiple teams?

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks y'all.

Making the National Tourney gets you credits for future seasons, and I believe that there's a promo code for 50% any purchase. I think it's SPORTSHUB.

This post has a rating of , which is below the default threshold.
Maybe you should of asked him if he even wants to play at d2 or d3 , I know I have 0 interest in it personally, but ya making the postseason gets you credits which helps offset the cost

And don't apologize for the questions. It's your very first post! As someone else stated, get a mentor, get good (it'll take you about 5 seasons to get the hang of it).

use the promo code and get you a 5 pack for like $30. One time fee. That $30 will get you like 8 months worth. That's not bad. And by that time you'll see how great the game is and be addicted like the rest of us. If you don't like it after 8 months then you spent $30. I've spent $30 on like 3 beers at a Reds game. It's not that bad for 8 months worth

I'll talk your head off if you like. Sitemail me.

I'd say with credits I end up spending about $5/season on average right now, although with credits and the promo code just purchased 10 seasons for about $20. It's definitely worth it to me.

Thanks for the replies.

I love the game. I play it with a few guys from work.

I'm at D3 right now, hoping to get up to D1 one day, but I'm grinding right now.

I've enjoyed the process so much that I don't want to get rid of my D3 team.

I'd like to move up to D2 or D1 and keep my D3 team, but like I said, no idea how to afford it.

That promo code might be huge. I'll hope to make another tourney run, and maybe with all the credits, and the promo code I can buy the bigger pack.

I sent you a sitemail. And if you're feeling like that about a D3 team in your first season or two, you'll love the game. The mentor is important. It's good to bounce questions off of the more successful coaches when you're learning. There's a million things that will run thru your mind.

We got a keeper, fella's.

I have 26 seasons of credit right now LOL. I don't think I have paid in 2-3 years either. It took a while to get to this point but once you win a title or two, that will make a huge difference.

Holy cow dude, that's insane, 26 seasons? You'll never have to pay again! That's the dream right there.

I was curious so I dug through some email.

The last time I paid anything from my pocket was Feb 2016. Not bad.

The key to saving when you're newer is 1) buy in bulk. 2) make elite 8s. 3) Have two teams on that level.

Elite 8 gets you $15 which is + a few dollars on the "single season" price. And buying in bulk obviously cuts into that price, and makes the $15 credit even more valuable

I still pay, but I buy 10 packs and when it came time to re-up, I had about $70 in credits. And I had 4 teams (I just got a 5th that isn't included in my lil formula), with only 1 that makes the Elite 8/Sweet 16 consistently. I have a second team that can start that trend now. So I think this second team will push me over the hump a lot more.

$30 every 3 months or so isn't bad for 5 teams. And the 2nd team moving up could eliminate even that soon. Took me one year to get to this point, for anybody who's curious.

And like chap said, winning 1 title can jumpstart the process even more for coaches. (And now is the BEST time because of the promo code. $50 for a 10 pack is nothing, especially if you have like $20 or $30 in credits built up)
