Having unopened sitemail doesn't turn the bell green in the WIS header, so check Sitemail under Main every once in a while until that's fixed.

Yes.

the effect is going from about 50-70% of site mails being opened in a timely manner to now less than 10%...

the results can be seen in the world center where worlds are beginning to get logjammed


I have several owners who wanted in before the transition but they haven't opened their site mail which contains the password. No way to reach out to them either. I also had a few that had no idea where to check the site mail.

There's a way to receive an email when you receive a site mail - too bad WIS can't default to that until it's fixed.

Very very frustrating. I'm sitting at 4 openings and have at least 8 who asked to sign up but all 8 have not seen the site mail.

i had one owner Thursday night site mail that he "was definitely in". I send him the password, literally less than 5 minutes later but it still sits unopened.

People can still access sitemail without the little green notification. On the whatifsports.com homepage (My Locker), scroll down past Recent Champions to My Account and it's right there clear as day. I don't know why everything is rocket science to so many people

If they know to look there it is fine. Otherwise they have no idea they even have a sitemail.

The very first thing I did after the switch was to make sure my credits carried over. The sitemail link is directly underneath it. In order to buy more seasons with the promo code you needed to go to that area, everyone should know that's where to check for sitemails.

Yes, it's that hard for many people to figure out. Why would I check sitemail if I don't see a little icon telling me I have a message on my team home screen?

Hard to image that whoever runs HBD didn't fix this as soon as the clusterfuck of getting everyone on the new platform was solved.

I agree, I'd be looking out if I had replied to someone that I wanted in their world, but the other folks who haven't had any interaction. They have no reason to check. There are a TON of owners who never use site mail until they see the big green alert and click it.

I used to have to sign in when inactive for a couple hours and it would take me to the locker room page automatically. Since the transition, I don't have to sign in all the time (thankfully), so I am not going to the locker room page anymore. So not everyone is going there even once in a while to see if they have sitemail.

This has been hard on recruiting. I lost a few owners during this transition who haven't checked the sitemails I sent them. Another guy who said he was coming back hasn't been checking his sitemail.

It takes literally 0.1 seconds to scroll down an extra few lines and back up again. Why is this such a chore? If you checked to see that your money still existed, you saw where the sitemail link resides. As previously stated, 99% of problems with this transition are user error. People are remarkably resistant to change

Taking for granted that "the system" is always gonna work exactly the way you expect it to... then blaming "the system" when YOU DON'T TAKE CARE OF YOUR SH!T...
