The only Zep songs I ever liked were Black Dog, Goin to California, and Hey Hey, What Can I do

all the more reason to like them! I was not a big Zep fan until I saw them live! Still not their biggest fan, but they rocked back in the day.

Misty Mountain Hop should not be on any worst Zeppelin list unless te OP believes that the rest of IV was to die for. Livin, lovin, she's just a woman? Perhaps you don't like it because alimony is paying your bills? I actually like The Crunge, although it probably is the worst song off of a generally awesome Houses of the Holy.

Trying to pick a worst song off of Coda is a bit silly. The entire album essentially sucked.

I also like Livin' Lovin' Maid as well as Misty Mountain Hop, but I feel they are the weakest tracks on their respective albums (which was the somewhat difficult exercise presented here).

Hey, Hey, What Can I Do? WIS never added a sarcasm font for the forums. I wasn't trying to nitpick, just answer in a lighthearted way...and I will take your suggestion and come up with my own list but I'll need to think about my answer for a few albums. Coda will be impossible to decide and In Through the Out Door not too far behind.

What would really be challenging would be a best (8-10) list regardless of album. I would struggle between the heavies (Black Dog, etc.,) the polished rock opera stuff (Ten Years Gone, Kashmir, Stairway to Heaven) or the hybrids (The Ocean/Over The Hills and Far Away.) It all depends on my mood, although The Ocean (oh, it's so good) would probably be included no matter what.

Until I post again, want to tell you 'bout the girl I love, my she looks so fine...

Yes. Making a list of "best" Zeppelin songs is a much more difficult challenge.

It was that very topic of discussion with my 14 year old (who just got into Zeppelin within the last year) that brought about the topic of naming a worst song from each album.

OK, here is my list. Worst song on each album is: (drum roll)

Led Zeppelin I - Worst of a geat lot is Black Mountain Side.
Led Zeppelin II - With a purple um-br-ella and a 50 cent hat, my answer is Moby Dick.
Led Zeppelin III - Hats off to (Roy) Harper is just dumb.
Untitled - My choice is Battle of Evermore. I've hated it for 40+ years now.
Houses of the Holy - The Crunge but only because the rest are the best. Now let me tell you about my girl.
Physical Grafitti - Most of the last side would do but the worst is Boogie With Stu.
Presence - Candy Store Rock sucks.
In Through the Out Door - Caroulselambra or Hot Dog. The former is way too long and the latter is stupid.
Coda - Who cares but Ozone Baby.
