I keep revising my team in the Draft Center, so don't be alarmed if you don't see me in the league at a given time...

I can only imagine. I'm betting everyone has a minimum of 22,000 minutes and a lot of the same players. Too bad. This would be a really cool league with a cap of 47 - 50 million. 57 Million is just too high.

22,000 + minutes is by design. This way, the coaches can start totally different players when one line-up doesn't work. Currently, there are 5 teams in, so the sample size is too small, but none of the player was used more then 3 times, and every team has at least 4 players none of other teams have. I don't know how you will define "lot of same players", but if you mean it in a way that there are three or more players majority of teams have, then it hasn't happened yet. However, I don't see how you cannot fall into a situation where most of the experienced owners will be forced into certain set of high valued players due to salary constraints. All experienced owners already know which players would be good bargain. In lower cap league, only an owner not too interested in winning the championship would be ones that won't draft these good bargain players. Therefore, depending on a way you put it, I don't see how you can avoid the situation of "a lot of same players" without holding 12 player draft, or forcing teams into situation where they can't have a player that other team have.

Think of excess minutes and usage not as a waste, but as your plan B when your plan A doesn't work.

The problem with the 57 mill is not that it can't work or be fun, but I think it's preventing people from signing up. They see the same teams with the same players being entered because the cap is too high and decide to pass. I have a competitive team built at less than 50M and I have waaaaaayyy to much of everything. The only way 57 could work is if you could select one player from the blacklist, then you could easily justify it and have a large variance in teams. Good luck, hope it fills.

Lower caps have more diversity, and that is way more important to most owners than having a plan B.
