and some people are not willing to move somewhere just because the cost of living is less. I know, I know...totally their decision. I like living where I do and would not move to Michigan because I could live better on my salary.

Right but then you have to make a choice. I may love art and to draw but I know I cannot make a living off it and support a family. If you like to teach then marry someone wealthy or wealthier than you. If not then you have to make some life choices. Right?

so, you're saying you should marry someone based on their ability to support you? Is that what you tell your daughters? I hope you tell them to make enough money to support themselves and marry because they love the person. That's what I tell my kids.

No you pulled a bad luck. If you want to take a fairly low paying job then you need to make some life choices. Work nights idk. I tell then to get jobs in high paying fields. Time will tell if they listen.
