Wait what? Uranium one isn't a scandal.

The State Department couldn't even veto the deal. Unless you think Clinton led a conspiracy of 9 Federal agencies to sign off on the deal.

It's the dumbest ******* non-scandal since fast and furious.

Treason is a crime. If it can be proven that the Russian government interfered in the presidential election, giving aid to a foreign adversary is treason. I'm not sure it matters whether he knew, especially if it can be proven that members of his campaign participated.

that said, we only have the word of the intelligence community as "evidence." that's not good enough for me. it's funny how everyone thinks they know the result of the probe before it is over. I feel like The Atlantic might know more than Mueller at this point.
I think the financial crimes end up being Trump's downfall. Conspiracy charges around the Russia stuff would be bad, but that's tough to prove absent direct evidence.

Money laundering? Tax evasion? Those are much easier to prove.
what financial crimes? the President hasn't been charged with any.
The President hasn’t been charged with anything.
this is true. he's innocent until proven guilty. that's not to say there won't be something legitimate, but there is no evidence of financial crimes by this administration related to any involvement with Russia.
A) I wouldn't expect there to be much, if any concrete evidence made public regarding financial crimes. But there are plenty of pieces of circumstantial evidence out there already.

B) The financial crimes may or may not be related to Russia, but it doesn't really matter. Crimes is crimes, yo.

1973: “I am not a crook”

2018: “Collusion is not a crime”
Collusion is not crime. Dumbass. Duh.
You don't know this, because you're stupid, but while the word collusion isn't listed in the criminal code, conspiracy is featured prominently.

Don't make the same mistake as other dumbasses and assume that collusion isn't shorthand for "conspiracy to..."

therein lies the rub. we deserve to see the evidence. otherwise, the Republicans have the ability to call it a witch hunt. taking the word of Washington insiders is not what I do. we learned that lesson the hard way when "evidence" led us into Iraq.

I would assume that we will eventually see the evidence, either in a trial or in a report given to congress.

I don't expect them to lock him up based on secret info.

Posted by the guy who literally started an entirely new thread because he needed to cry about a speaker at a rally for a congressional candidate from a state that he doesn't live in.

It was a thread mocking the new Left not crying about it. The GOP has the Presidency, House, Senate and soon the SC. Why would I cry? I am not even a Republican but watching you and yours squirm is hilarious. GO GOP!!!!
