cccp has relatives and friends everywhere and in every profession. Also members of every race and religion, except Muslim.
Two Israeli relatives. Two Muslim friends. Two black friends. Two friends who are cops. Two friends who are politicians. Two daughters. Two partridges in a pear tree. This guy is so full of **** I’m surprised his eyes aren’t brown.
How do you know his eyes aren't brown?
My eyes are green. Not that you care.

Maldives. This is too easy, cccp.
The law prohibits the practice by Maldivian citizens of any religion other than Islam, and the Constitution precludes non-Muslims from voting, obtaining citizenship, and holding public positions. Hopefully you are solo without your wife or daughters.
That makes the Malvides a social, economic or military disaster?

Since BL won't answer. Can you name one Predominantly Muslim country (60%+) that is not a social, economic or military disaster?

UAE

The UAE does not have democratically elected institutions and citizens do not have the right to change their government or to form political parties. There are reports of forced disappearances in the UAE, many foreign nationals and Emirati citizens have been abducted by the UAE government and illegally detained and tortured in undisclosed locations.[1][2] In numerous instances, the UAE government has tortured people in custody (especially expats and political dissidents).[3][4][5][6][7] and has denied their citizens the right to a speedy trial and access to counsel during official investigations.[1][2]

Flogging and stoning are legal forms of judicial punishment in the UAE due to Sharia courts.[8] The government restricts freedom of speech and freedom of the press, and the local media is censored to avoid criticizing the government, government officials or royal families. Freedom of association and freedom of religion are also curtailed.

Alcohol consumption for Muslims is illegal and punishable by 80 lashes, many Muslims have been sentenced to 80 lashes for alcohol consumption.

Apostasy from Islam is a crime punishable by death in the UAE.[63][64] Blasphemy is illegal, expats involved in insulting Islam are liable for deportation.[65] UAE incorporates hudud crimes of Sharia into its Penal Code – apostasy being one of them.[66] Article 1 and Article 66 of UAE's Penal Code requires hudud crimes to be punished with the death penalty.[66][67]

Emirati women must receive permission from male guardian to marry and remarry.

Homosexuality is illegal and a crime punishable by law.

This makes the UAE a social, economic or military disaster?

Yep. Just like how Lebanon and Israel are disasters because both they treat Palestinians poorly and exploit child labor.

When you are not given equal rights because you are not of the same faith that is a social disaster in my book.

When apostasy is punishable by death and being gay is illegal. Yes. Social disaster.

So Israeli law banning inter-faith marriages makes Israel a social disaster in your book?

Ehhh...since when?

Here is the rule for Muslims in Israel?

Most Muslims in Israel are Sunni Arabs.

In 1922, the British created the Supreme Muslim Council as the Muslim religious authority in the British Mandate of Palestine and appointed Amin al-Husayni (1895–1974) as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. The council was abolished in 1948 by Jordan, but was reconstituted in Jerusalem after the Six-Day War in 1967.

As the law of the land in relation to marriages has formally remained the Islamic law prior to the establishment of the State of Israel, it was not necessary for the Muslim community to formally "accept" these arrangements.

Muslim marriages are conducted in accordance with Islamic law and customs. Inter-faith marriages are permitted between Muslim males and Christian or Jewish females, but the opposite is not currently allowed for female Muslims.

Sharia courts deal with personal status issues in the Muslim community.

A Muslim woman may petition for and receive a divorce through the Sharia courts without her husband's consent under certain conditions, and a marriage contract may provide for other circumstances in which she may obtain a divorce without her husband's consent. A Muslim man may divorce his wife without her consent and without petitioning the court.[28]

They are not illegal, as performing or being married to someone of another faith will not result in any sort of legal action against you.

They are not performed as the institute of marriage is controlled by the various orthodox religious councils in Israel. As a result of this, the most strict religious leaders from each faith determine who can be married in Israel. So Orthodox Muslim leaders don’t allow Muslims to marry non-Muslims, Orthodox Jewish leaders don’t allow Jews to marry non-Jews, and I’m not quite sure about the situation with Christian or Catholic leaders.

Additionally, there is no civil (non-religious) marriage performed in Israel.

HOWEVER

All marriages are recognized in Israel that are performed outside of Israel (with the exception of polygamy)

So if you are married outside of Israel in a wedding that is:

  • Gay
  • Lesbian
  • Interfaith
  • Atheist or not religious
  • Not Jewish, Muslim or Christian but some other religion
  • Not religious enough to get approval by the various religious councils in Israel
  • Something else?

Your marriage will be recognized in Israel along with all the others that are performed in the country through religious organizations.
