Up until then, what kinds of evidence could you use to see that institutional racism was present?

I was not in the work force permantently, but I did do some jobs during school, etc. I think people tended to hire more people who looked like them. I was a pre law student so I mainly worked at law firms and it was mostly Jewish males and females. Very few Asian Americans, African Americans or Latinos. I deal with law firms now and that is no longer the case. So I think once Gen X got into the work force a lot of baby boomer prejudices started going away. Just anecdotal evidence from one observer in terms of one career path, which was the legal field.

I will reiterate that I am not an expert on this matter. Persons such as the "white supremacist" Ben Shapiro and Jordan Peterson are and they state that instutional racim doesn't exist. If you have issue with this, ask them, not me.

It seems like you really don't know much about this issue at all.

I said I believe it doesn't exist, I mostly use the naked eye test. I listen to experts who provide data that say it doesn't exist. Which I have stated on numerous occassions. I am not sure what you want me to say here? Asian Americans earn the most in this country not whites. I don't think this country is free of racists but I don't believe institutions are racist in this country. I don't know very much about the Xs and Os of football so am I not allowed to opine that I think the KC Chiefs are overrated? I have no idea about the blocking schemes, defensive packages or coaching tendencies. I just know what I see.

Due to identity politics we can cherry pick data to show what we want it to show. Unequal outcomes don't necessarily mean the larget impact is race. I asked you why in your opinion Jews were the wealthiest persons in the US? You could not answer. There is something about these outcomes that impacts them but we all don't know what it is. I personally do not believe that if a qualified african american applicant applied for a job and went against an equally qualified white applicant, that the african american one would be at a disadvantage.

They may or may not be but personally I have not see it one time in my entire career. I have seen it with gender. So I'll bite. Maybe I am ignorant and just don't see it. But I sit on a board of a major university and not one student has stated to me that they believe they cannot achieve their goals due to race. Not one. Gender, I have btw.

So while I am not an "expert", I work in the business field, I participate heavily in academia, I am raising kids in this environment and I have not seen, personally one iota of institutional racism.

No one said anything about "largest impact."

There have been several non-partisan studies showing widespread racism in all kinds of different situations. Arrests, criminal charging, sentencing, employment, education. housing. Denying that institutional racism exists is just flat stupid at this point.

We are going in circles.
