I didn't call the country racist, but if you think there are not racists in this country and there are not racist instititutions in this country, I think you are sadly deluding yourself. I am not saying white people are privileged for being white, I said that some white people are privileged for being white, just as some black people are privileged because they are black. (But I'm willing to bet its more prevalent with white people.)
I hate racism and certainly don't want to push the racism agenda. In my opinion, Mr Trump has done a lot more to push the racism agenda than any "leftists" I know of or have seen.

I sit on the board of a major college and not one of our minority students, not one, has even broached the subject that they didn't get a job or an opportunity due to race. Again these are college educated kids so I get that it is a small sample but my point is there is no such thing as a conspiracy with institutional racism. And actually what you mean is conspiracy vs. blacks. Because that is what you really mean. Why don't you just say it instead of beating around the bush.

Obviously, you'd agree that being born with down syndrome is a disadvantage in life, right? Any two people in the same situation, if one has down syndrome, they are going to have a harder life. That doesn't mean that there are two people out there, one completely normal and one with down syndrome, who have completely parallel lives where every detail is exactly the same except for the down syndrome.

You made a poor comparison, but if one of my children were missing a limb I would teach them how to thrive without it. I would not allow them to use the handicap as a crutch (no pun intended) for failure.
