I still cannot believe that we are having this debate still.
Institutional racism, as defined by me and BL, exists.
CCCP is trying to move the goalposts around for some reason. Whatever. He has shown that he is unwilling to even consider the idea that institutional racism exists. As he would say, Captain Ignorant.
I have told you 10000x delivery boy, there is no intentional institutional racism. There are racist people not racist institutions. Ben Shapiro agrees with me. He is smarter than you and bad luck.
You moved the goal posts again. INTENTIONAL institutional racism. I mostly agree with you here. Institutional racism is primarily based upon stereotypes and negative feelings, not actual hatred.
Lol, Ben Shapiro agrees with you. Good for you. Get your own brain please. Ben Shapiro doesn't speak for you.
I have stated from the outset that racists do exist. I don't believe institutions are racist but they may unwittingly employ racists who in turn make racist decisions. I have never wavered from this. I have my own brain. He is a political expert so I listen to his views. When I sprain my ankle, I may know its sprained but I would still see a doctor to get an expert's opinion. If I have a leaky faucet I get an expert to fix it. So why can I not rely on a political expert to gauge his view on institutional racism? Jordan Peterson also agrees with my POV.
As I said tang, you are religious so in the end God will judge you and IMO it will be unfavorable. But what do I know? I don't even believe in God. LOL.
You are getting there but it is more complicated than just that. For instance, redlining. That was a case of an institution being racist. I believe that even though redlining doesn't exist today for the most part, it happening still has effects on our society. It's less about individual racists and racism today than what you like to think.
Ben Shapiro isn't an expert. Yes I like to gauge an experts opinion. But time and time again you develop an opinion and when you hear Ben Shapiro have a differing opinion you immediately conform to his opinion. I like John Oliver, I think he is a pretty good voice on issues that aren't being talked about enough. When was the last time I said "Yeah you have an opinion, but JOHN OLIVER agrees with me so I must be right."
A lot of my political beliefs are bolstered by my religious beliefs. The Mennonite Church is very liberal and a lot of us are Soc Dems like me. Even in Kansas. I'm actually on the moderate side compared to a lot of people in our church, believe it or not.
