That's where I am confused as well. The Mennonites I know are more Amish-leaning (in attitute) than modern-day Christianity, which, all the way up to the Catholic Pope, just drips with political activism. However, not knowing anything about Mennonites, other than what the ones near the KC metro tell me on occasion, it would be silly getting into a "Mennonite" debate with tangplay. He is the expert, not I.

Easy there. I did not vote for Trump. I do think he was a much better option than HRC (my dog would have been a better option for president than her), but the lesser of two evils is not a good reason to vote in my opinion. The lesser of two evils is still evil. I think he has done some good things for America since taking office, but I also think he's a swindler and is beneath the dignity of the office with the comments that he makes. Honestly, he makes me nervous.

I agree with most of this(athough I think HRC was a better candidate, not much better, mind you, but better). I don't see too many good things he has done since taking office. The economy is doing fairly well, but it was doing fairly well before he took office.

I really like the fact that he recognized Jerusalem as the Israeli capital. I also like his Supreme Court nominees and whether he gets credit or not is debatable, but the economy is better now than when he took office.

The regulations easing has been terrific. I like the increased military spend and increased border control.

sadly, it may be funny, but I think it is also true. I know cccp has a sense of humor, and strikeout, and you, and tangplay. I'm not sure I've ever seen any evidence that bad_luck has one. I'm not saying he doesn't, just that I don't recall seeing any evidence of him having one.

of course there are things bl has said that I found funny, but he didn't intend them to be funny.
