The NEW LEFT...Can't make this stuff up Topic

Good talk, tang. We disagree on a lot but we actually hashed on some serious issues (albeit briefly.) Now, if the other 320M Americans would do the same, we might be onto something.

We completely disagree on

-Attacked the FBI and the press, making them enemies of the people. Screw the press. They have been picking political sides since the 1st Amendment was written. They have the right to attack the President. He has the right to call them the inbred ***** that they are. Both get to exercise Freedom of Speech...and it's not going to create a Constitutional crisis. The FBI is different. It should never be an enemy of the people. Unfortunately, it has been used as such several times in history. The FBI has been weaponized and needs a house cleaning. It was time for its feet to be held to the fire.

-Failed to acknowledge that climate change is a problem, hired Scott Pruitt. There is no such thing as climate change unless we are acknowledging that the climate has been continually changing for the past six billion years. This is far left insanity at the height of its powers of delusion. Actually, it is all about power and control...so it really isn't a delusional ploy by the powerbrokers. The delusion is suffered by the average American who buys the hype. It doesn't matter anyway. According to the great Al Gore in An Inconvenient Truth, it's already too late because the 10 years are up. What a scam.

-Appointed Betsy DeVos, refuses to address schools. Betsy DeVos is just fine. The Department of Education is what needs to eliminated. Nothing like an unconstitutional regulatory clusterfuck to destroy our contry's ability to learn.

-Approved Dakota Pipeline. I'd approve 100 pipelines if it put OPEC out of business.

-Cutting tons of regulations. Seriously? Do you believe the role of federal government is to create regulations? This is one of the shining triumphs of the Trump presidency so far.

-Left Paris Climate Accord. I believe I have answered this alerady. You gotta love the champions of climate change. Leonardo DiCrapio flies to Switzerland on his private jet to give an impassioned keynote speech about how bad fossil fuels are. He then promptly flies back to LA...wasting more aviation fuel than I will use gas for my car during a lifetime. What a scam.

-Failure to make a significant stance on gun control. The 2nd Amendment, for me, is inviolate. I could go on about this but I think you can see where our difference lies immediately. The only way I accept gun control is through a Constitutional amendment re-writing the 2nd.

-Pulling out of Iran Nuclear agreement. I don not believe in negotiating with terrorists. They are also an enemy. Screw Iran. The only piece of paper I would sign with Iran would be their unconditional surrender.

-The whole family separation fiasco. I believe in very strong borders, although (now) not necessarily a wall. I don't know what else you are expecting us to do here. Destroy ICE seems to be the flavor of the month. That is very productive far left insanity talking. The same "fiasco" existed when Obama was POTUS but ICE was just dandy then. This feels like nothing more than opposition party propaganda to push a hot-button topic hoping to manufacture outrage to get sympathy votes in the next election cycle.
-Attacked the FBI and the press, making them enemies of the people. I agree that the press has its problems. Trump isn't helping himself. The whole issue just keeps getting worse because neither side is helping themselves. I disagree that the FBI is weaponized. Both sides think the FBI is biased against them. I think it's ridiculous.

-Failed to acknowledge that climate change is a problem, hired Scott Pruitt. Climate change 100% exists, This is not up for debate, I am sorry. Yes, climate is constantly changing. Does it matter whether it's man-made? We still need to stop it. Trump doesn't care. I really care about this issue. Temperatures are rising. FACT. Water levels are rising. FACT. Water levels rising has major effects on the environment and humans. FACT. Also, Scott Pruitt is the worst hire of the Trump presidency. So many scandals, and he is too busy cutting important regulations to worry about stopping climate change. He really ****** me off.

-Appointed Betsy DeVos, refuses to address schools. She is not fine. I think she is an imbecile who has no idea what she is doing. The DOE is flawed but I would much rather have them than the states. States are awful at education policy. And my opinions on what to do with education are pretty well-known.

-Approved Dakota Pipeline. This was just a flat-out bad decision. No care for other people and it hurts the environment.

-Cutting tons of regulations. There's a line between too many regulations and too little. Trump is crossing the too little line. One problem I have is that Republicans seem to have the goal of cutting regulations and not benefiting America. Even if the regulation is good for us, cutting it is a victory. Dems may primarily raise regulations but raising regulations isn't a policy goal for them.

-Left Paris Climate Accord. While that is hypocritical, it doesn't disprove the existence of climate change. And many on the right are hypocritical too. If you go and look back, many people who now are disbelievers were once very convinced of the existence of Climate Change. Post-2008 that all changed. I'll let you figure that one out.

-Failure to make a significant stance on gun control. I don't think you need to change 2A to pass gun control, and this has been backed up in court before.

-Pulling out of Iran Nuclear agreement. I think the Iran deal hurt Iran and helped us. If a deal helps us, why not sign it? Many in Iran HATED the deal when it was signed.

-The whole family separation fiasco. I need to get more knowledgeable on this, but the whole thing was just not a good look. I don't think ICE should be removed, and I believe in strong borders. Maybe not very strong. Definitely not open. Somewhere in the middle. Immigration should be easier for good hombres, and we need better ways of keeping out the bad hombres, and the ones who don't want to come in legally.

WTF? You believe in strong borders but not very strong? If someone comes into my house illegally I am going to beat them up and unleash my dog on them.

In your house do you have locks but not too many locks? You are a dummy.

Technical objections

-Failed to condemn Nazis sufficiently. The usage of "sufficiently" drive me crazy. That is opposition party porn. If I condemn something 10 times and on the 11th I answer "whatever," I'm probably tired of answering the same frigging thing over and over. But, since I didn't call for the public execution of every David Duke in the world ad infinitum, I get labelled as -Failed to condemn Nazis sufficiently. It's boring.

-Talks about repealing ObamaCare with no replacement. As much as I hate the ACA, I agree that some alternative needs to be ready to replace it...preferrably an alternative with a sunset clause. Flat repeal is not smart.

-Did not nominate Merrick Garland. I would have nominated him...and then let him be voted down. The precedent is now set for serious ugliness every time a judge retires.

-Hired people with connections to the Russian government. This is opposition party porn. The entire Russia story is propaganda for future elections but, with that said, he could have vetted his people a bit more.

-Faulted immigration rhetoric and policy. I honestly don't know what you are referring to here. This is a sound bite for a topic that requires a dissertation.

-Moving the Israel embassy to Jerusalem. Israel gets to say where its Capitol is, not the rest of the world. I think having the Capitol in Jerusalem is inflammatory while the Palestinian issue persists, but it is Israel's call. Our call is to either have an embassy or not...and it needs to be in the Capitol. The left pretends like Trump is the first POTUS to agree to do this. He is simply the first to have the balls to do it. It's boring.

-False and dangerous rhetoric on Robert Mueller. While I believe the Mueller investigation is opposition party propoganda and a travesty, continually making comments about it is a poor tactic by Trump. He should have come out once, spoken his mind and then either leave it alone or stop it in his tracks.
-Failed to condemn Nazis sufficiently. This is a pretty minor one for me and I do think it was overblown. With that said, I think Trump didn't handle the Charlottesville thing very well in my opinion.

-Talks about repealing ObamaCare with no replacement. If Trump has a better replacement to ACA, I'm all ears. I don't hate ACA, but an improvement could be made. Trump doesn't have that improvement, and I know a couple of people who voted for him partially because they thought he did have an improvement.

-Did not nominate Merrick Garland. This is another less important one for me. I wouldn't have nominated the people he nominated, but I don't hate the picks. This is just a disagreement.

-Hired people with connections to the Russian government. I wouldn't call the ENTIRE story propaganda. We have to wait and see what Mueller comes back with. That's why I only stated what we know. As you said, he should have vetted more.

-Faulted immigration rhetoric and policy. I'm referring to the wall and other plans like increasing border agents. I think both sides have awful solutions to the problem that just won't work and I'm getting pretty frustrated about it.

-Moving the Israel embassy to Jerusalem. I respect your opinion, and I do get it, but I just lean towards the safe side. I think the long term ramifications of this with regards to the Palestine situation could be pretty damaging. I don't hate this move though.

-False and dangerous rhetoric on Robert Mueller. Why do you believe the investigation is a travesty? Genuinely curious.

Charlottesville was not a great moment for Trump. The wall I have cooled on but I wish we would double or triple border agents. We'll just need to disagree here. What Mueller is doing, per se, is OK I suppose. However, there is a tactical plan in place that is clear to see that this investigation is meant to last four years, thus, it is more a political tool than an honest investigation. If Trump wins a 2nd term, this investigation could go on for 8 years. It is a travesty because it sets the precedent for every future POTUS and how the opposition party will act. The precedent is dangerous and offensive.
A couple things to end on.
  • Bush tried to do the same thing in terms of border agents a while back and it really backfired.
  • The Nixon investigation also lasted a long time. A quick look at the timeline would show that the investigation is actually moving really quickly in terms of arrests. If I feel the investigation is becoming a tool, I will adopt your opinion. I don't think it's gotten there.

This guy doesn't know a horse and buggy from the flies on his rotten ***.

tangplay is the worst of all peoples.

He lies to those he thinks know no better.

Had I known he was using the Mennonite religion as a tool, I would have called him out earlier.

This is very much a sin to me. Horrible. These people will not fail to stoop to the lowest level because there is no bottom for them.

He could not even name his favorite book. He had no clue what I was referring to. This is evil.

About a half-step DOWN from the **** gutter. One foot in Hell. Unacceptable.

I need to take a step back. There is anger and then there is righteous anger.

I need to separate. I want righteous anger and justification.

YOU DON'T PLAY ME BOY.

I'm a good and honest man. I will flick you like a booger.

You better fast talk and step like I never seen anybody before because if you don't.......

YOU'RE JUST A MEMORY!
8/11/2018 12:13 AM
Doug wait. So he lied about being a Jew and a Mennonite? What else has he lied about? Hmmmm....?

Tangplay is so stupid. None of those negatives are big deals and some are positives. Damn we have dumb people in this country.
Instead of just calling me stupid you could actually engage in debate with me? Or share your opinions? That would earn you a lot more respect. Thanks.
You posted pics of Hitler so you are a waste of space. The number one topic always has to be the economy. That is the engine behind the US. It is better under a Trump. Tax cuts that halted corporate inversions, no more overseas investments, no more of the artificially high stock market, fewer regulations. Low unemployment. Higher wages.

Higher military spend. Iran is no longer teasing our navy with their stupid boats as they know the repercussions.

He also armed the Ukrainians, BHO refused. This plus the sanctions on Russia has shown them the US is not a push over. Renegotiated trade deals are a positive imo but you could argue the reverse too.

He is making it harder to come here illegally. We are $21trn in debt don’t need more dead weight.

He took the the side of Israel finally. Our only true ally and Democracy in the ME. He is close to throwing Iran into a civil war.

He and Putin are squeezing Isis in Syria. Isis is on its last legs.

People want to feel safe, secure and have quiet enjoyment. They do under this administration imo.
I agree that the economy is booming. Thus I didn't mention it in my complaints. XD.

Higher military spend. Iran is no longer teasing our navy with their stupid boats as they know the repercussions.

Prove it please. Is it really cost-efficient for that? Iran tested us spending 700 billion but 800 billion is just a bit too much?

He is making it harder to come here illegally.

That's a good thing to try to do. Unfortunately I think his proposals are, for the most part, not very effective and a bit too pricey.

He is close to throwing Iran into a civil war.

Proof?

He and Putin are squeezing Isis in Syria. Isis is on its last legs.

This was going to happen regardless. ISIS was already falling before Trump got elected.

How did it backfire? What?
There was like no vetting and many got into the job who were completely unqualified and had no idea what they were doing. It led to reduced effectiveness.
