Yes but unlike the military the doctors refuse to take medicaire patients. I'll dumb it down.

I call: I have a sprained ankle. What is your insurance? Harvard Pilgrim. Doc can see you tomorrow.

Old person calls: I have a sprained ankle. What's your insurance? Medicaire. Doc is available in 24 days.

The patient ends up going to the ER and it costs more. Medicaire remibursement rates need to be adjusted so they pay more up front so that MDs will see these patients rather than have them going to more expensive options like the ER.
Well, first of all, it’s Medicare not Medicaire.

Second, there are plenty of doctors that accept Medicare the same way they accept other insurance.

Third, Medicare paying more is the opposite of a cut.

The starter of this thread believes that debt is a good thing.
Debt is a tool. It’s not inherently good or bad. It’s just a thing.
If debt is a means to an end, then I agree with you again. I could never have afforded my house without assuming debt. However, I took on the debt with the plan to pay it off. Unfortunately, America has rooted itself into permanent, crushing debt with no inkling (or intention) of paying off the I.O.U. IMHO, that is inherently bad.
It’s clearly not a crushing amount of debt, though.
Boo. There was a clear opportunity to find common ground. Obviously, the Cal Tech thing has gone to your head.

Yes it is. LOL. They do but they postpone taking those patients. Paying more to pay less. Seeing the MD may cost $150. Going to ER costs $500.

So increase the reimbursement to see the MD to $200 vs. $150. Still saves when compared going to the ER. My parents are old but they have supplemental insurance. My dad says they see MDs much quicker because of it compared to their friends who don't have it. Doctor can only see so many patients per day so they will see the most profitable ones first and foremost and schedule out the less profitable ones down the road, hoping they go elsewhere and cancel.

I agree. We need to balance the damn budget. But we cannot do that without addressing entitlements. If DJT wins a 2nd term he'll have to do it then.

If it was a crushing amount of debt, servicing it would be an issue.

And my Cal Tech team will be dogshit this season.

You don't even know who is running against him.
haven't you been paying attention? cccp has stated on numerous occasions that he will never vote democratic again, so it does not matter who is running against him.

It is a person who had no issue with the Palestinian flag and anti Israel chants at the DNC so they will not get my vote.
since you don't know who it will be, you have no way of knowing what issue, if any, they had with the Palestinian flag.

LOL...thanks man. Helluva trip. Had my worst golf round in probably 20 years. Can't remember the last time I shot over 100. Back on the road to the beer capital of the USA on Thursday: Bend, Oregon.
Over 100? Damn, I can't remember the last time I did that as well. Of course, I think something like 90% of all golfers never BREAK 100. That starfish green is pretty cool looking.

I remember the last time I shot over 100. It was the last time I played. Golf is not my game.

That’s like saying, “the starter of this thread believes flat-head screw drivers are a good thing.”

Well, sometimes flat-heads are necessary. Other times, they aren’t the correct tool for the job.
I'm starting to notice that analogies are not your strong suit.

Yeah, I didn't have a problem with the tax cuts. I had a problem with the tax cuts without cutting spending.
Front line winner. Cutting taxes, by itself, will never pay off the massive debt the country has.

The silly narrative right now is that America has an Opioid Addiction. The true addiction America has is an addiction to Credit...and it's killing us.
not so silly to people who are addicted to opioids. Isn't it possible we have credit addiction problems AND opioid addiction problems?

I coached a kid this past summer who's brother plays at Cal Tech right now. I asked his mom if he wanted to go to Cal Tech with his brother and she responded with I don't think he can get in. He made a 1550 on his SAT.

I like B_L. We have a lot in common when it comes to sports. We just stand on opposite ends of the spectrum on political issues and he is not the greatest debater. I don't think politics and a lack of debating skill are good reasons to dislike someone.
