You cannot have all 3. If you have universality and affordability there will be fewer good doctors so you won't get the same quality. "You get what you pay for". Right now we have the best doctors in the world.
I think you saw a sign in someone’s shop that said something along the lines of:

Good
Fast
Cheap

You can only pick two

And tried to apply it to every situation.

No. That is not it. I am asking tongue in cheek. If you could pick two. What would you pick? Logically there would be fewer MDs if they knew the compensation would not be there as it was in the private sector.

You know that “asking tongue in cheek” means you don’t want me to actually take your question seriously (ie answer it)?

I am more or less curious. If you had to pick two, which two. I'd take quality and affordability.

We clearly don't have the best healthcare in the world. Not close. The best countries in the world in healthcare almost all have universal healthcare.

For the size of our population, we do. More people live in Georgia that in Sweden or Switzerland or Norway or...

I know you once stated you are a virgin but size actually does matter :)

Yeah but more size also means more income. And the list is filled with smaller and larger populations, trading spots. So yes, size is important, but it's also about how you use it.

By far the best is here for open heart surgeries, cancer, etc. Here in Boston were especially strong.

Tang needs to move to Russia and then he'll see. He is so obtuse.

Are you kidding? He literally said anyone who voted for Trump is an idiot. The dude is an A Hole at best.
I'm not sure how you calling him an ******* is any better than him calling you (and every other Trump voter) an idiot. Its his opinion, just like you saying he is an ******* is your opinion.
8/13/2018 7:38 PM
Yep. But I am only calling him an Ahole not everyone who voted for HRC.

So, you think cutting the military budget in half would only cost 10 jobs?
That was hyperbole obviously. I said it because CCCP refuses to say how many jobs he thinks we would lose, despite saying that it would kill our economy.
There are roughly 4M people employed by the military including private contractors. For simplicity's sake, let's assume that if you cut the budget in half, you lose half of those people. You don't think 2M people losing their job would cripple the country?
Welcome to Keynesian economics. Happy to have you.
Obviously there is merit to Keynes theory, but I am far from a Keynesianist.
Agreed about Keynes. I much prefer Hayek.
Salma?

To be serious, size incorporates not just population but geography. Over 50% of Sweden's population lives within 10 metropolicies. 22% live around Stockholm. Not only is the US 31 times bigger in population but 22 times bigger in geographic size. All of this matters where costs are concerned. You are making an apples to oranges comparison.

Equally important, the criteria used to make such lists are not unbiased. Those lists are opinions being presented as facts by authors with a very overt agenda.
