Good point!
But it's a point lost on too many on the left. They can't understand anything beyond "Trump voters are dumb".

I'm not the biggest fan of the man, but I am satisfied with his presidency so far, and my vote is justified by this next SCOTUS appointment. I also believe he will appoint Ginsberg's replacement, which will just be a bonus.

That will buy the right a LOT of time (SCOTUS wise) which we were quickly running out of with Obama's policies, appointees and the path HRC would have continued down.

I know I personally stumped for him in my circle of influence based PURELY on the SCOTUS angle.
MANY Christian conservatives despise Trump. However, the argument is hard to overcome when you present it as a choice between even more erosion of religious freedom vs. a guy who certainly doesn't exude Christian values, but is definitely no enemy of the church.

On another note I love what he's doing trade wise. I know the "experts" are screaming "THE SKY IS FALLING", but we will win this war of wills and war of attrition. Bottom line is China needs us far more than we need them. They will fight back for awhile, and it may get rough for a time, because China knows the media will bombard Americans with "This is all Trump's fault", and they hope to erode support for it and that we give in first. That would be a big mistake and Trump will not cave, so China eventually will. In the end it will be an enormous success and win for the people of this country, but it will definitely get worse before it gets better. We just have to be smart enough to see the end game.

So you are sacrificing moral and religious values for political ones?

Honestly it stumps me why ANY Christian would vote for Trump. He is so anti Christian value that it is insane. It's a major reason why Christian Evangelicals are becoming one of the most hated groups in the USA. For good reason. Good riddance.

No. I am sacrificing nothing and ensuring that the SCOTUS doesn't get too far out of hand as it was heading that way. I made that pretty clear.

Nice try. That angle has been played ad nauseum. Hillary is repulsive to Christians as well.

If we are only to vote when a pious person runs we would never vote.

I doubt any person hates Christians because of Trump who didn't already espouse hatred towards us. It is so predictable.

Willing to sell your soul for a SCOTUS seat.

This is dumb. Trump has done more for Christians the Hillary ever would have.

I’m not actually referring to religion. I get why you’d think that though since the topic of religion came up in the last few posts.

I meant it in the broader sense of doing something wrong (supporting a dangerous, possibly compromised, racist idiot) in order to get a desired outcome (conservative leaning SCOTUS).

Sell your soul? Bad Luck seriously has mental issues. I stated the facts why people voted for him and he dismisses them because he either cannot read or is too stupid to understand what I am writing. Tang is drunk. Trump ran on a pro life platform. Many Christians are pro life. How is voting for Trump anti Christian? Meanwhile HRC bullied her husbands accusers and blamed Lewinsky for the affair.

None of that stuff matters to me. My primary objectives are military and economy. My vote doesn't count but if it did I would vote for Trump all day.

Not sure what you think Trump has done for Christians.

Again bad luck shows his subjective opinions as facts. Many had the same exact view of HRC. Bad luck is such a sore loser. Wow.

So you think Trump is less or equally morally compromised to HRC? That is ridiculous. HRC isn't a great person, but not repulsive save the abortion argument. If you vote for Trump, you are NOT voting as a Christian.

BTW, I am a Christian as well.

Especially focusing on the "Many had the same exact view of HRC". EXACTLY.

In my opinion there could be nothing more "wrong" than voting for HRC.
I don't say it is an unequivocal fact, like bad_luck appears to be doing, it is simply my opinion.
