Jesus tang, who gives a ****? Arguing about the percentage of the border patrol that supports the wall is stupid. The border patrol (and virtually any government agency) is going to be in favor of any proposal that adds to their budget.

The question isn’t, “does the border patrol support the wall?” It’s “is the wall an effective use of resources?”

That is actually a good point BL. Although I have been trying to argue whether the wall is effective. It's not.

It was a joke, I was channeling Doug. I think they could have received monies other than the Wall. They didn't ask for more cars, guys, pay. They asked for a Wall. I trust those that work on the border over those that just opine.

People that work on the border aren't superhuman. They are people. Use your own facts and logic and stop saying that 'this guy supports it so I support it too.' You are allowed to have a separate opinion.

That is absolutely true. In a policy debate format I would have to cite a source. However, right now I am asking YOU to defend YOUR opinions. Give me reasons why YOU think the wall will work.

Because the people who are constantly protecting the border want it. On a naked eye test you see how Mexico just allows people to walk right in and then Leftists like you whine that we are separating parents from children. These parents mind you are doing something illegal. Another reason I think it may work is because it works in Israel when dealing with the Islamist squatters. That wall has been great.

If your argument rests on border patrol wants it, you have to acknowledge that it’s in their interest to have more money flowing to the border patrol.

Also, separating families because of a misdemeanor is inappropriate.
