He SHOULD be happy as hell about McCain's passing at this moment. Only an event like that could have pushed last week's disastrous legal events off the news cycle. Stable genius that he is, he instead (once again) behaves like the petulant 8 year old he is and refuses to acknowledge a legitimate American honorable veteran hero. He SHOULD have used this sad event to salute a statesman and icon of the Senate to prolong the media's coverage and delay the inevitable return to news about his illegal activity. But, no evidence has yet been demonstrated of his "quality brainwork" no matter how many times he points to his skull and claims how good his brain functions.
No matter, really though. The drip will continue. The investigation marches on, and the facts remain.
What was done was done. It WILL come out.
AND, here's a difficult FACT for the Trump "flock" of mindless defenders.....................
I was around and alive and payed attention during the Watergate "event" and the resulting investigation leading to resignation of a President.
The little fact is (NOT so little really) that TRUMP is in much much worse shape legally than Nixon ever was or dreamed of being in!!
Ultimately, the charges made against Trump will, be far, far more legally damning than ANY potential charges that Nixon could have been indicted for.
Nixon didn't "collude" with a foreign adversary to gain advantage in (either!) of his successful Presidential runs.
Nixon was NOT charged with Money laundering
Nixon was NOT charged with evading U.S. Taxes.
Nixon was NOT charged with fraud.
The ONLY similarity between the two disgraceful President's is the (likely) charge of Obstruction of Justice.
Nixon's "obstruction" was linked to a "minor" break-in. A misdemeanor criminal act in most jurisdictions.
Trump is already LINKED to TWO felonies.
