I've decided to run one last theme league before taking a hiatus from WIS, maybe permanently. This time of year is a great time to start a league with 2018 players upcoming.
Wanted to ask the audience for what type of theme league would be popular and easy to fill. One of my all-time favorite theme's, State of Birth, already has a similar forum thread going so I'm ruling it out.
A theme I've run a couple times in the past, Home Grown, returns players to their original teams like Jeff Bagwell on the Red Sox, Dennis Eckersley on the Indians, Roberto Clemente on the Dodgers, etc. There are many more players that were originally drafted from a team you may not associate that player with like Johan Santana with the Astros, Trevor Hoffman with the Reds, and David Ortiz with the Mariners.
Players that were originally drafted but did not sign with that team are not eligible, think JD Drew on the Phillies.

I was unable to get my Family Ties theme league filled which was disappointing! Hopefully there are some new cookies coming our way that can add a fresh perspective to this site with something exciting and new!
