No one is proving guilt. Kavanaugh isn’t on trial. It’s a job interview. Someone appointed to the Supreme Court should be beyond reproach. Kavanaugh isn’t. He doesn’t belong.

The democrats need to be investigated for illegal activities concerning this conformation and NO MATTER how many people are found guilty, there should be a political and financial price to pay including incarceration.

This is the biggest problem with our current climate. There have been cases where men have been accused, had their reputation destroyed, and when it is proven they are innocent, all we hear is "Oh look, another predator gets away with it." Once you're accused, there is absolutely no way to convince people that you're innocent. And it's foolish.

It's unbelievably dangerous to take someone's word for something. Back in the day, if a woman came forward and accused a man and he said "I didn't do it", he was taken at his word and that was it. That was ridiculous and dangerous and we've come a long way since then. But the pendulum has swung too far in the other direction. Believing someone blindly because they make an accusation is just as ridiculous and dangerous.

Especially when we're talking about stuff that hasn't been reported for decades. I don't know if Kavanaugh is guilty or not, but it's so easy these days to make up a story like that because any details you stumble on you can just say you don't fully remember. And it's hard for the accused to fight it because they and possible witnesses can't remember the events clearly either. Who remembers every party they went to in high school/college?

It's making it very hard to tell who is credible anymore, on either side.
