Merrick Garland was denied a vote. There was precedent for stalling in that instance. But I get why Dems resented it. Kavanaugh has been treated completely different . From who? Ford and Kavanaugh have been interviewed at length. Ford was asked if she had more to say, she said no. Her witnesses were useless to her allegation. She probably was victimized at some point, but it doesn't appear that Kavanaugh was her attacker. Her case against him was thin to begin with, and her testimony only worsened her case against him. She seems like a coached victim, and her recollection is poor.

I am in the group that would rather be accused of murder than being accused of being a sexual predator. And I would be ****** if I was wrongfully accused. Seems he may feel similarly...

Yeah, great, that's your opinion. None of that proves anything.

Actually there was a whiff. A huge whiff. Ben Sasse said as much today and the actions of the GOP and Kavanaugh prove it. Remember who controls what is released in the background check. The white house.
