Hate to say it but it peeves me when Christians, specifically Catholics, complain about how they are being persecuted somehow.
Do you mean the never ending non existent lawsuits over nativity scenes, having to say the PC version Happy Holidays in place of Merry Christmas in a public place? That atheists find any whiff of Christianity offensive? No, none of that here. Have you ever seen on the news where places like Syria, where Christians are being murdered by the bushel basket? Nope, it's just made up...wake the F up.

I will add that as a Catholic, I am disturbed by and disgusted with the Vatican. A few years back it was the fight over the money at Saint Stanislaus in STL. They fought tooth and nail with that parish over control of their funds, which they didn't care about until they saw how much was there. Thankfully they lost the court battle.

Now it is this ongoing, systemic problem of child abuse with priests and even high ranking members of the church. The Pope needs to come clean, or i say get a rope for the lot of them. Another swamp that needs draining.

They bring discredit to the Church. No wonder people are leaving in droves. I will not support the Vatican until real change is evident.
