How does this relate to slavery? And I'm no racist. Fwiw I have a very good rapport and friendship with blacks born here, as well as many west Africans. I employ people from Kenya, The Gambia and Senegal. Several have dined in my home. So much for what you know...

I register with the annual census. The vote is at the HS there are like 100 booths. 5 min. If you want to take away Columbus Day it’s fine. Not add a holiday. No checks and balances I can vote 10x if I want to.
