Yes. Smart people should know their limitations, not assume to always be the smartest guy in the room. Obviously they don't point this out at Harvard.

History will be the judge. Eventually light will be shed on recent events...

The former Leader of the Free World, despite no visible leadership qualities. Refused to hear any opposing point of view. Surrounded only by like minded minions. An 8 year world tour, apologizing for America. Yes, Barack Hussein Obama. Good riddance.
LOL

And you like Trump. Hilarious.

You aren’t a serious person.

From what I've read and heard, Tillerson, Haley, Mattis and others within Trump's inner circle have offered opposing views frequently. He reportedly wants a great deal of input, then makes a decision.

Obama largely ignored the input of his Joint Chiefs. They said as much. He preferred the advice of those in his cabinet.

Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates was very outspoken about how Obama dissed his Generals regarding Afghanistan and Iraq, that he wasn't interested in their advice. LBJ did similar in Vietnam when he dispatched 200,000 additional troops into the fray.

Obama got himself in hot water with his base when having to walk back his No Boots on the Ground promise, something Petraeus warned him not to do...

Exuding confidence is fine, but you have to know when you are overmatched. Obama never could master that. A strategist he is not.

Trump has serious flaws. I trust his judgment, and the people around him much more than Obama and Valerie Jarrett. I feel your pain. Obama scared me for 8 years. Inviting the Muslim Brotherhood(State Dept named them a terrorist group) to the White House. Ignored Israel as an ally. Telegraphed military strategy. Benghazi. Red Line threat that he didn't back up. Sorry but I viewed him as in over his head geopolitically.

The 2016 election wasn't going to give us a Saint. He is no Boy Scout. But maybe he can do some good. Try to wish for prosperity instead of rooting for failure.

Boris, avoid a career in diplomacy... :)

As Benjamin Franklin said, "It is ok to insult a man privately, they may even thank you for it, but when you do it publicly, they tend to think you mean it."

You missed the point. There are a lot of very poor people who are incredibly hard working. Probably harder working than you or me. But they’re still poor.
I doubt they work harder than me when I first started out pulling all nighters at GE Capital while also going to grad school. Nothing was ever handed to me. Everything was earned.

"We are a generous and welcoming people here in the United States, "But those who enter the country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law and they are showing disregard for those who are following the law. We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants into this country."

Barack Obama, 2005

"All Americans ... are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country," "The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers. That's why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, by cracking down on illegal hiring, by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens."

"We are a nation of immigrants," "But we are also a nation of laws. It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years, and we must do more to stop it."

Bill Clinton 1995

"So called poor."

cccp believes the myth that all people deserve what they get and the only thing separating the poor from the not-poor is hard work.
People don't always get what they deserve. But if you don't work hard, and depend on the government to provide for you, then yes, you shouldn't get anything that I'm paying for.

All welfare and government assistance for able-bodied individuals should only be in payment for public service
