He's acknowledged as a liar by some of his most loyal allies, like the Mooch, who said Trump lies ON PURPOSE and that's different than an ordinary lie.

There is no hypocrisy whatsoever in believing the fact that religion is mythological. NO ONE knows what happens or happened. NO ONE knows what is "right." How about this.

You put that family in line with those waiting to be processed for legal immigration. You speed the process as much as possible by using military and civilian resources. Maybe finance humane shelters and temporary food and care programs by spending a billion less on weaponry.

You really don't think there's a bit of fat that can be trimmed to facilitate HUMANITARIAN relief as expeditiously as possible?

And these people chose to come here. They should know you can't just walk in. Maybe worrying about education and anything other than keeping people safe, alive and together can wait until another time. Like when they've begun their assimilation into the US. And anyway, what other countries do isn’t terribly relevant. The 14th Amendment grants birthright citizenship. No self-respecting conservative would argue that an executive order should overrule a constitutional amendment.

Trump knows that an executive order will immediately be challenged in court, and then taken to the Supreme Court. That’s his goal. So no, an executive order won’t immediately take effect, and even an act of Congress would be litigated.

The Court has never fully decided on whether the 14^th Amendment protects the children of illegal immigrants, people who are clearly subject to the jurisdiction of foreign countries. Illegal immigrants have a right under the Vienna Convention to consular contact if they arrested for a crime, for example. It seems highly unlikely that the framers of the 14^th Amendment meant to include the children of illegal immigrants. The SC will decide.
