How would you start healing the divisiveness in this country?

Support bipartisan candidates. More independents. Stop prioritizing politics over country. Incentivise people to be bipartisan.

I like it. So maybe a 3rd party?

We already have third parties. Unfortunately neither one of the mainstream ones are moderate. People like Kasich need to leave the repugs. More candidates like Ron Paul. Greg Orman is a great example in Kansas. Unfortunately I will be voting for Laura Kelly as she is the only way to defeat Kobach.

I mean a legit 3rd party. Say the "Moderate" Party? But you're correct as it does not see feasible. How about Democrats start bashing their extremists and Republicans do the same to their extremists? Also how about not calling them "repugs"?

I don't consider repugs an insult.

By extremists, you mean Trump, correct?

Clever troll.

I mean Louis Farrahkan on the Left and David Duke on the right. Last warning. You troll again and I'll rip you and you'll cry that I am being mean. I am trying to be civil here.

Oh. Well if those are your extremists, the new party wouldn't be very moderate. It would be like 98% of the electorate.

No. I mean a new party is not feasible we need the Left to denounce the crazy leftists like Farrahkan, Waters, Lemon, Ocasio-Cortez and for the right to do the same with Bannen, Duke, Spencer.

In reality if you elect Ben Shapiro POTUS you'd solve a lot of ills. He is logical.

Cap political contributions at $100 each and put serious spending limits on candidates (that vary depending on the scope of their elected area - i.e. local, state or federal). These restrictions would severely limit the importance and influence that Parties have, and would enable politicians to vote for their constituents' best interests instead. Then if they don't, they have no excuses and should get voted out next time.

There are 63 million people that thought Trump was the best option for president. Not much is going to bring them back to reality.

I would take Shapiro over Clinton.

Ben Shapiro is a bad-faith arguing, *******. He would not be a good president.

And you can't equate David Duke to Don Lemon or Ocasio-Cortez. Jesus, you're stupid.

I LOVE this idea. Thank you.
