Open offer for a trade:

You receive
  • My 24th round pick (#576)
  • My 25th round pick (#577)
  • My 17th round pick (#403)
  • My 18th round pick (#432)
I receive
  • Your 20th round pick
  • Your 21st round pick
  • Your 22nd round pick
  • Your 23rd round pick

You get a better shot at some of the ace-level pitchers, as well as back to back picks to start the final round, while I get more consistency of picks in the late rounds
And you finish up the draft 2 rounds before anyone else.

magicdreamer, have I done something to offend you? I don't see you calling out others for making similar trades

My 6:30 pick is for sale. For your 16 and bump up two late picks.

This has turned into the Classified advertisements.

He's also wrong, as Redcped finishes his draft in the 23rd round lol.

That being said, I think he's just frustrated about all the trading...and to be honest, most of us are. This league has turned into an exercise in trading...which is the ultimate gimmick. How is anyone supposed to plan out picks when it can be screwed over at the last second by a late trade?

So does dippedncrack, after that last trade

jmissirlis and I have agreed to this trade

jmissirlis to confirm
Confirmed.

Sorry -- just realized that jmissirlis does not currently have a 20th round pick (very slick move on his part, haha)... we will figure it out and repost

It was just a public service announcement. Since you were pointing out the benefits of the trade to you, I thought I would point out all the benefits to you. In regards to the other trades, I believe no one else were pointing out benefits, or I missed those posts that did, it didn't stand out to me.

Quite frankly, I am not a fan of any these trades and I think anyone that trades backwards in the draft, like so many people in the draft have done, is not smart and they don't realize how big of a disadvantage they are putting themselves in or how big of advantage they are giving the people that move up when they agree to the trades. Maybe, it will work out for some that move backwards but the smart money says no. When every trade proposed is to move forward, and you were the first and a really good player, the good players figured out that they have a advantage over everyone else by doing so.

No trades allowed would have been better, in my opinion.

Agreed about the trades, but too late now

Can you confirm the structure of the trade? dippedncrack currently has two picks in round 16. Also unclear what you are trading to him
so yeah - I give up my 14 and one of my 16's (he can have the second one) and my 2 24's. And I get his 17,18,19,20. I think. But yeah - whatever. My goal is chaos.
11/10/2018 2:31 PM
Oh he doesn't have a 20th? Then as a penalty I'm amending the trade. Now he has to take my 23rd as well. I'll get his 17,18,19,21, and 22! (This is more fun than I thought.)
