"Love" when I hear a media member say that "nobody" in their profession would ever slant reporting for Political reasons, then I watch a Political story being reported on by 2 different networks and it appears they are reporting on two different stories. Are they slanting, or just absolutely horrid reporters?
Trump hates the media, so the media hates him, and slants against him. Some, (yes, of all ages) refuse to look past that and vote accordingly.
Isn't that how people like Ocasio-Cortez win elections? Hell, if she becomes a lesbian, she'll be a shoo-in for the Democratic nomination in another decade.
A loud, photogenic, young, gay, minority, woman who hates almost everything traditional. What better candidate could they and their media friends hope for?

personally I don't care if a candidate is loud, photogenic, young, gay, minority or female. I couldn't care less. What I care about is what they stand for or against. Unfortunately, I think there are too many people out there who will be either for her or against her because of those attributes, when none of them should have any bearing on whether you support her or not.
By the way, I am not for or against Ocasio-Cortez. First, I know very little about her. Second, she is not a candidate in any election that has any bearing on me right now.

EVERY politician's appearance has influenced EVERY election, at least since the invention of TV, if not before.

Even if it's fat, old white guy vs, fat, old white guy, the appearance of the two is going to sway some voters.
